This will be the ULTIMATE GUIDE to completing blight maps. This is my personal way that I make all my money on league start and the strategy I have been using for the past several leagues to make profit running blights!
NOTE SOMETIMES YOU WILL LOSE A BLIGHT MAP IT HAPPENS AND IS OUT OF YOUR CONTROL! MOBS SOMETIMES JUST DONT CARE!
Also note if your map has CANNOT BE STUNNED you have to rely on chilling towers and meteor / scout / arc towers.
Annoint 1 Meteor Towers - Violet + Indigo (the 2 purple ones)
Annoint 2 Chilling Towers - Opal + Silver (sadly this combo is about 20c but well worth spending the money on it)
Your atlas tree for this strategy DOES NOT MATTER as epidemiology has been nerfed / removed.

Hey there. Just wanted to drop by and say that your video was extremely helpful. Thanks to you I found the content that I think I enjoy the most in POE. I used to think that blight was super hard and I had to be very well prepared gear-wise to tackle them on. Running blight maps is super cool, sadly I still can't go semi-afk like you, maybe I just need more practice. At least I'm having tons of fun, and it seems profitable. At the very least I can always break even.

@@Travic_ I'm doing blight ravaged maps now. Sometimes I fail the maps due to my stupidity, but all good, today I dropped my first divine this league. But you know, sometimes I feel the bosses are extremely tanky, especially when they're fire resistant. Even if I'm hitting them it takes soooo long for them to die. Not sure why

I just go all in on meteor towers with burning ground and an extra meteor. Teal and Silver are the only oils that seem to make any difference. Teal for speed and silver for extra loot. As far as I can tell, "Lucky" chests and gold oils don't seem to do anything.

I’ll look into logbook, I’m working on a strategy right now for another video (you check see it in twitch shortly) but when I’m done with this I’ll look into logbooks. As far as farming blight maps go, literally take all the atlas passive nodes, grabs some blight scarabs, horizon orb your tier 16 maps to toxic sewers and blast. You will PRINT maps like crazy. Also DO NOT take Singular Focus node as it will delete your maps ;)

Blighting has definitely been enjoyable this league for me as well. I finally upgraded to annointing my blight ravaged maps with 3 silver, 3 verdant, and 3 amber. Making acceptable profits, and CRAZY xp. Using ring annoints of meteor burning ground and empowering tower effect.

I'm doing Blight with triple Verdant oil. It's SOOOOOO much experience in this case, I basically leveled up from 75 to 93 in blighted maps. Doing regular maps just to pile up some new blighted maps. Rinse and repeat.

If we lose 40% effect of modifiers on blight maps, how are we making more than last league? More importantly, do any atlas passives apply to blighted maps anymore? Reduced cost, pump durability, tower damage? Or do those only apply to bought encounters in normal maps. Thanks.

Atlas passives only affect normal Maps with blight encounters. Blight Maps don't belong to the Atlas.

Are you sure the map doesnt have "mobs cannot be stunned" or "mobs movement speed doesnt go below base value" this would cause them to walk past certain tower types. Also if the mob is immune to the physical/stun tower it wont get stunned.

Only time i lose blight map its instance crash ahah, about oils used - anything less than crimson is waste of time, +30 of armor and weapon chests on every map is not profit from not doin 9c investment that not make map harder, any of that 4-6 lanes can be scarabs/fragments/currency ones and in a long run u lose like 20+c every map by using just ambers

Yeah especially after epidemiology change too. I try to tell people not enough chest are lucky and its just better to go fast and blast. But people want to use them and I dont want to stop anyones fun but I agree. Better to sell unless doing blight ravaged and even then its still a bit sketch about what to use.

Hey travic i've been watching a lot of your blight videos as it is the top source of information for Blight. In all of my years of playing POE, I used to avoid blight and blighted maps since I did not know you can complete it with just towers. All I thought was I just spec to a High DPS, range or explody builds then do it. I was wrong. Thank you for your videos. May I ask, does Blight Atlas Tree Passives apply to blighted maps?

As someone who just made it to maps for the second time this league (quit immediately last time) and have been loving it, would you consider doing a "league mechanics tier list" or something similar? As a new player hitting maps theres so many mechanics to learn, what is good, what sucks, what works well together, etc.

I can look into it! But I would advise newer players to try out the mechanics they think look cool and take your time to learn them. See what you like and what you dont like. Me telling you I like certain things might not be the same as you. Like for example according to most people LEGION IS THE KING OF MID TIER CURRENCY FARMING but I am just so meh on legion.

I did this same strategy based on your previous video and it has been wonderful then because of this video I started using alchemy orbs and vaal orbs and got my first 2 raw divines blight chests. (I was under the impression based on an older poe version that alching just made it harder and does not affect the blight chests thanks for the advice!!!) I started with the 3 amber oils now that I am better at blight maps I found 3 violet oils to be awesome as I'm getting 4+ violet each blight map or verdant oil for leveling gems and your character.

Hey! Was that you today in stream? If you can handle the map I would do Teal for sheer speed and just another safet annoint. Blight ravaged lets you really explore options but I am always a sucker for Amber/Teal/Sepia. But thats my preference

Am i the only one that feels like Blighted maps got nerfed as hell? Ran like 100 t14-16 blighted maps, all chiseled alched and vaaled with crimson oils. All atlas points in case one is affecting blighted maps. And got only 2 raw divines and like 5 Exalts. 5 Gold, 10 Silver, 3 reflective and 3 tainted oils. last league felt a whole lot better, by a lot

None of the nodes work, that has been confirmed via Bex. So losing epidemiology was huge. Do I think Blight maps were nerfed. Not really. Ive done my fair share of them this league and have profited greatly. I do think the oil changes were a buff but they probably still have a long way to go in terms of being top top top tier again. Would I still run them and do them a lot absolutely.

So.. thanks for the video. I watched it about 6 weeks ago and have been using your system since. I really enjoy blights. Not a great beefy toon but I got up to corrupted tier 13's, never tried anything higher but I was happy with that. Then along comes the latest patch..... Shit something really changed. I am now struggling to do just rare tier 10's and sometimes lose several times in a row. Is there anything I need to keep my eyes peeled for? Not that it matters but I am a noob death oath aura dude. I would assume my equipment is low to mid level. Thanks for the tips. Is there something that works better now?

The layout changes might be making it harder for you. Nothing it seems to have changed. You might also be getting awkward rares on some maps that are beefy. If anything you can try not juicing the map as much. I have been running blight pretty exclusively since like hour 8 of the league and havent had any issues. You can try asking other people in the discord but mostly the same advice still stands.

you can just build empower + seismic + chill at the large intersections to perma stun everything. That way you dont have to build them 20 times, 3 or 4 times usually is enough. Rest just goes into empowered meteors

what do I do when blight lanes go in opposite directions in maps? (non blighted/ravaged ones). I only get enough to buy 1 tower on one side and they just run through from both sides anyway when I try to cc them.

Cover 1 side with a stun / freezing tower and ping pong between the 2 lanes blowing it up until you get more juice to make more towers and pray. Doing cassia events in a map requires a strong mapper sadly

Glad you figured out the scarab issue. But blight maps are found by farming cassia in maps. The best map to do this on is toxic sewers. Just make sure you don’t have singular focus on

For towers just 2x ring buff azure+sepia oil, it buffs empowering towers. Now stun towers lvl 3 with empower lvl 1 stunlock all enemies. For dmg go for empowered arc and meteorite towers. Ideally 3 close towers spots empower (add lvl if you need range) + arc + lvl 3 stun. This should kill everything on lane. Tip - if you have tower spot on pump and with close spot for empower, you can put stun tower at pump, it should stop everything so you can be safe untill you build dmg for all lanes.

blight with new rares doesnt work at all for me. firstly you doesnt care about map mods ? what about mobs having spell supres or cannot be stunned? i was using chilling tower stun with empower effect annoit and mobs from non freeze lane just ran past my towers completely ignoring freeze. something is bugged or i dont know.

@@Travic_ my friend im having trouble with when the enemies get super close to pump on higher blights like t14+ had everything perma stunned, and perma froze, yet a big dude ran up out of no where 1 tapped it made no sense. But in saying that ive came to understand it alot more, and having alot of fun. you said t14+ is what drops tainted, and goldens? Gotten a few divines, and exalts already as drops.

Can you share your loot filter? Is it better to sell or to do ravage map? Yes agree just need some practice I lost my 3 first map, now I almost never lost a map.

I run my blight ravaged 15c a map seems silly to sell. I just use the neversink loot filter honestly.

I have the same strategy you have but i keep losing in blight-ravaged maps. Bosses just straight up walk past the towers. Not sure what im doing wrong. Sht i even put up empowering towers to give more dmg/effectiveness to the towers and some of the mobs/boses just walk pas them and they hit my pump for 10 points

If you roll the map and it has "Monsters cant be stunned" they will walk right through your towers, same for "cannot move below base value" chill towers then do nothing.

@@Travic_ yeah it doesnt help that 2/10 times you get those when i corrupt them. Nothing i can do and blight or blight-ravaged i always lose bcuz its the same map that have shtty tower placements. everything goes different directions. That 5% hunts me

Triple teal, cut your map time in half. Blast and loot fast. Run around and clear the map too

@@Travic_ Dude, this strategy is so ridiculous. I've been struggling with results on T13+ blight maps with my RF Fire Trap Jugg. Not exactly sure what I was doing wrong. Finally I get a Kirac mission for a blighted T16, figuring maybe I'll get lucky. As soon as I jump in my health plummets. It's a no regen map but too late, I'm in. Might as well try it. HOLY HELL it was tough but I made it through. Not a single hit on the pump either. This setup is SICKKKKKK!!!

Very nice and comprehensive Video, thanks for all the Tipps! But i got some trouble at another part of Blight farming. Im pretty fine Build wise, i can Clear corrupted t16 easy with my build. But when im trying to Farm t16 Cassia with Scarabs the T16 Blight Encounter on my Normal map just owns me. Blight maps are really easy, and im using the same Cold /Meteor Combo. Are T16 Blight Encounters on normal Maps just that much harder than t16 Maps and t16 Blight Maps?

The one node that increases mobs and makes them move faster can be very overwhelming for a lot of builds. Also it cost a lot of to create and upgrade towers in a map. You really need a strong mapper to do tier 16 farming. The new nodes for increased tower damage though help a lot on the atlas tree

The different towers require you to look at the lanes and adjust according to resistances it makes it a lot harder for the average player. Arc is really good and scout is good but only in combination with everything else
