Spent the entire league on impeding doom occultist with poisons (tuna build). 2 days ago I saw your vid and decided to replicate it. Some items (chest, with corruption and doctrine) cannot be found or require craft (too much risk for the chest, I couldn't stand it, lol). So I tried to find a substitute for doctrine mostly that made sense. Yesterday I was 99% finished and I can confirm that this build is a freaking monster. Well done sir!
I remember making this build from crouching tuna last year . In my pob dps reaches up to 8 million without ticking anything, but he didn't update his build so i was stuck, couldn't do anything against venom gyre or wardloop
it's still not bad, but in 3.22 and 3.23 it was much stronger. I had true 100M dps, my cdr was 96%. But now - no good tattoos for cdr and no replacement for charms, so it's kinda basic version, but dps is enough for most content
This build has an ISSUE in PoE 3.22! The Void Battery wand had a 10% Maximum Mana mod from Crucible League, without this league the Mana Reservation doesn't add up and Zealotry cannot be used for example, or one less Aura. Breaks the build. @k2gaming_

Can you tell me how exactly your recovery works (with i guess Diadem in it)? Heard few time about Eldrich battery/mind over matter/The covenant combo, can you describe how it works? If eldrich battery shields mana, does taking damage to mana from mind over matter takes away your energy shield too? How do you manage to min/max castspeed relation with cooldown recovery rate? Also, i am keeping eye on "sacrifice support". Pretty cool showcase, giving me inspiration to next league. thanks!
Hi, thanks! 1. Imo crit version is better than poison, moreover they nerfed temp chains and duration of poison while focused in helmet 2. Yes, taking dmg to mana damages ES, but we have ES leech, 10% to start ES recharge when we use skill and Feast of flesh also helps to recover life and ES when there are corpses around. Generally life regen, life leech, ES leech keeps our life and ES full almost all the time 3. There were some calculations with amount of cast speed and cdr for ID, but main rule: the more cdr - the better. For cast speed, there is point from which investing in cast speed becomes inefficient, but I guess I am far from that point, only 98% cast speed for temp chains here. Break point is around 130-150% with such cdr
would love a guide section on building up to the endgame setup as a league starter, especially now that Diadem will be non existent for many of us for a lot longer
mate, it's so easy: can't find/afford some piece of gear - replace for rare one with life and res, drop some aura, then farm bit more and change to what you need. Do I really need a guide for every of my 30+ builds about this? I think it's obvious for any player

@@K2Gaming_ Ok then you say "Sorry, I don't have time to make a league start guide for this build, but you can look for a starter build for X and transition into this at point Y" (I'm not even sure what you would start as for ID). But saying things like "Do I really..." "Its so easy..." "Its obvious..." etc, falls exactly into the category of making someone feel bad for not already knowing the answer to their question. Also if you think the audience for league start build guides is that small you are very sorely mistaken.
@@TheRealDigitalDecafI was talking about audience on my channel, as u see I never post step by step guides, only build showcases, so my target audience are players that played at least few leagues and know most mechanics and levelling process is easy for them. Still if they have specific questions - I always reply to all (like "what skill should I use for acts/until lvl 30-40", etc). But for full, detailed levelling guide, please find other channels that are specialized in this

@@TheN1MuSOccultist is easier to start with, scion is better as second char. Both have good dmg, +- same survivability. Scion is more vulnerable to dots (because dmg taken reserves life), but in the same moment hexblast will be very good for sanctum if u planning to run it, auto-targeting, freezes, it feels good
great content! just want to ask if there is any leveling suggtion cause I want to league start this build next league. the problem is when I practise this build it is the pain in the ass before lvl 24. I tried ED+Con and Poison concoction and both of them feel terrible with the curse passive tree.
Thanks! before lvl 24 better use ele spells, freezing pulse + lmp (or volley) is always good choice, I lvl almost all caster builds with freezing pulse, even to lvl 65, then swap to what I need
@K2Gaming_ Would you recommend PF over Occultist, or is the difference in survivability minimal? Occultist seems to have much higher damage potential with a crit build, but then again PF can hit some high damage numbers spec'd into crit as well, and seems to have better survivability as an added bonus. I love Profane Bloom, so I'm pretty biased, but if the Occultist version makes bossing white-knuckle, then it seems like PF makes more sense. Any recommendations?
difference in survivability is huge, pathfinder with right setup, petfified blood, flasks can be almost immortal, but dmg will be max 36M, because of dot dps cap. Occultist has much higher potential, yeah, survivability is lower, but clear speed is better, explosions feel good. So idk what to recommend, depends on your playstyle, if dying sometimes is not a problem, then take occultist. If u want to be rly tanky - take pathfinder

No, I don't think so. Tree was pretty optimized. But of course if u get Badge with +1 curse corrupt (140 div or so), then u can remove 6 passives, but aoe will be lower
Hi! 1. Why in your 3.24 buld you use only 3 curses not a 4? How it work? We need 3 curse limit to 4th curse to override other. 2. Ralakesh boot do not gane me all at ones power/frenzy/endurance charges. It gave me one by one while i stationary. Need your help!
Hi! 1. I use 4 curses here, punishment in gloves is just disabled because it's curse for replacement, it doesn't affect enemies, but when we enable it in POB it takes place of Despair for dps calculations. 2. Ralakesh boots in 3.24 work as they should, they give you not charges, but bonuses from all charges as though you have them all.
Hey there, i was tryong to replicate your build coz it seems funny to play but there's one node on the tree which i dont have, i dont know if it was replaced but the node ''inner conviction'' is replaced with ''Hex master'' is there an alternative to that? What would you recommend?
mate, just use militant faith with dominus name in jewel socket near hex master, it will change keystone to inner conviction, that's how timeless jewels work
hi, trying this because it looks so juicy with tattoos this league, do you recommend a +1 to dex gems tattoo for temp chains? also, do you have any advice on how to improve the movespeed of the build without a mageblood? (like one of those "fakeblood" belts?) edit: practically done with the build, awakened spell cascade does a surprising amount for the build (extra dps from overlaps, extra aoe, extra survivability from clearing faster so you don't get hit) it has an irrational amount of damage and aoe, i even dropped zealotry for haste so i could blast maps faster. it definitely should not be getting near monsters though, it's best played like lightning arrow, especially since it can offscreen so well. i added progenesis + bloodnotch which makes it a lot less squishy the charge stacking is very funny, i look like a christmas tree
Hi! +1 lvl to temp chains is useless. Much better to get +1 power charge. You can add haste aura with divine blessing, also enchant boots for 10% movement
Hey K2, loving your vids. I tried this build yesterday and it’s fun! Nice skill and damage for sure . But I had to swap to a mageblood for a mapping set up , because the MS is just awfully slow, any ways you have to increase the speediness of the build without changing the belt off ? Like you mentioned the belt gives a lot of cdr aka damage for this build . I could get a void battery with cdr and abyssal jewel with cdr to hit 13% and replace belt with mageblood but I’m trying not to use it .
yeah, ms is bit slow, so I am using quicksilver with 14% inc ms, it helps. Not sure there are more good ways to increase it here. Actually u just can swap mageblood for mapping (including map bosses), dmg should be more than enough for that, and for pinnacle bosses or maven's invitation use stygian vise
@@K2Gaming_ hey man thanks for the reply ! I found a way to actually keep the damage almost as high and use a mageblood set up. It’s expensive but having a void battery with cooldown recovery rate helps !
I don't know exact numbers of aoe, but the more the better I guess, good for clear. Not sure is aoe medium cluster important or not, but it's good for me, exploding whole screen is cool

maybe you also took Unholy Authority in occultist passives? then you have too high curse limit, we need just 3 (1 base, 1 from gloves, 1 from whispers of doom)

@@K2Gaming_ I didn't find a progression for starting right away through crit. All bloggers have released versions through poison and recommend buying a hat for crites and already then make respec.
@@TheN1MuSidk then, I made it crit in mid league without transition from poison. Moreover poison will be nerfed a bit in 3.22 (temp chains "effects expire slower" from 40% to 25% which means less poison duration, less max dps)

I bought it, but I guess u need to roll flat life + % life, then prefixes cannot be changed, then veiled chaos, block some useless veiled suffix on crafting bench, then unveil and hope for cdr Or just buy 15-20 cdr + 70-90 life, then craft strength, can be enough, bit lower life, but cheap
nice build, i have bit poor version of it (not all jewels). but its terrible on mapping for me. i have 20k armor (21 determination/20 vaal molten + potion 60% armour and defiance banner). one shots all the time, i died 300x! im bit done. #EDIT. Is possible to change for another armour? i prefer to have a bit lower dmg like not 95mln but 60-80mln. with much more deffences?
idk how u play, but I died with this char only 73 times (lvl 100). It's pretty safe because aoe is so big and it kills everything from 1 cast. What the problem with body? it's 7L and downside is not so terrible, we have enough life regen + life leech to not lose life from casts at all
yep, pathfinders always go into poison, so even with mirror budget u will be capped at 36M DPS. Crit versions has much higher potential of dps. But on other hand, pathfinders can be almost immortal with permanent flasks and high flask effect
hi, no at the moment. But if we use no-implicits uniques, then build is not so expensive. Also can replace Covenant for start for any other 6L, rare or unique, maybe skin of the loyal. Also cheaper jewels without 1 mod and it will be around 5-10 div I guess
hi, thanks! Footage is from 3.21, so ralakesh boots worked different previously, now they just give bonuses of all charges as you have maximum of them, so on practice it's the same.
You mentioned in pob that awak cascade deals x2 damage, is that so? Or did you just mention that any cascade support do this, not only awakened version?
in game, if we look at awak cascade with curses, 4 of them overlap almost all the time. So if POB has option 2x overlaps but we actually have 4 - so I wrote 100% more dmg to simulate this. Normal cascade can give only 2 overlaps. Still it's arguable, people saying that awak cascade gives not 100% more, but only 50-70%. But for me, final value 95M dps is pretty accurate to what I feel in the game, dps is really good

whats the main difference between this and the Path finder version? my path finder has about 40m poison dps for about the same budget, but im guessing path finder is tankier since it uses progenesis
yes, pathfinders always tankier, especially if add bloodnotch, then it's almost unkilable. But it has lower dmg and no explosions, so clear with occultist is much better and boss dmg too, but need to avoid hits
@@K2Gaming_ sry another question. I’m not sure if you use this but I’ve seen other impending doom occultist user allocates caster mastery with deal more dmg when stunned. How does it actually come into play or is it a pob warrior kind of thing?
@@titanquestnoob2391 idk, it can work actually, but probably not as good as we want. If u get hit from uber boss - that can be oneshot, so this mastery doesn't work mostly. For regular bosses it can be ok, if u get hit that removes 30-40% of life, it can stun you (but still there is 50% chance to avoid stun from having ES)
Hi short question, is this build also hit by the problems with vixens? My impending doom occultist won’t trigger the blast cause vixens cast before myself. To trigger doom, i need to swap added chaos damage and take cursed ground, then it’s triggering normally. But with lower dmg. Ist there a way to fix it?
idk, my bro now playing this build and everything works fine. Raise your cast speed probably. Or maybe u have extra curse limit which breaks it, need 3 curses limit

@@TGIS_KelevraI never used cursed ground with impending doom, it always worked for me as it it in POB. So idk what the problem, maybe u did something else wrong

Or did I missed it in the Pob? :) 2. can I run harbinger with it? Last 3 maps, the aoe spells 1 shot me :)
Hi, thanks! This ring has crusader influence, so it's % ES mod there. I just bought it on the market, but I guess it can be crafted by using crusader's exalted orb on ring with res and life (just rng, hope to slam %ES) or rolling crusader base ring with essences, chaos etc
Question why is there a 100% more dmg in the config? i tested on todays POB which accounts for vixens and this is only about 44 mill , can you do a video explaining or explain shortly on comment?
yes, I know that 100% more is arguable. But previously POB calculated dps only for 2 overlaps, which is ok for normal cascade I guess. But with 2 awak cascades we got more hits, more overplaps. So I think that awak cascade is at least 2 times better than normal one. Previously I tested normal cascade vs awak with my pathfinder impending doom poison. And with normal cascade on single target I never got 40 virulence stacks, just 34, but when I set 2 awak cascades, 40 stacks easy. On top of that, watch the video again, do u think that build with 44M DPS can dmg uber shaper that hard? 2:32, 3:08. I played many builds and for me it feels as 100M build, not 40. Anyway, it's just numbers, much more important that it can deal really high dmg to ubers in game
I know it’s more of a preferences, but do any of the new tattoos further upgrade this build? I was thinking some of the Honoured tattoos but the +30 Int passives are 2 far away
my bro is playing this build now and he is using impossible escape with Wind Dancer, so he took 30 intelligence there. Also he has some tattoos for reservation and cooldown and +4 all attributes. But he has less life
@@K2Gaming_ ok noted, and I also adjusted for more life, with the new tattoos it’s now possible to get +225 to maximum life, especially with the Wind Dancer jewel u mentioned

Question for the Void manipulation, crit damage, & charge on crit support gems, why do they say they don't work with temporal chains? & What are they being used for in the 6 link? doesnt say they are effecting doom either? has me confused Or i guess my question is why is it effecting it, but doesn't have a green checkmark saying it works with those gems?
temp chains in main 6L is just to trigger doom, so all other support affecting only impending doom, boosting its dmg. Except spell cascade, it actually supports only temp chains but effectively increases doom dmg by x2 or x4 with awak cascade (if have it also in gloves)
This season have Jewel “The Balance of Terror Cobalt Jewel" with the line "+% increased Cooldown Recovery Rate if you've cast Temporal Chains in the past 10 seconds." So can this unit replace the Cooldown in Belt line? I hope Admin can help answer. Thank You..@@K2Gaming_
@@TGIS_Kelevralol I never stuck, it's just 0.3 sec to cast once and whole screen explode, so I don't need phasing. Better get phasing on kill somewhere instead if u rly need it. Anyway withering step has cooldown and turns off when u cast something
@@K2Gaming_ sorry i want to ask currently doom blast is using our health to cast due to the covenant body armour? So we need open vitality or stone golem to gain a lot life regen?
@@chancheechoong1064 yes, that's from covenant and we can't reduce it with reduced mana cost nodes, because it's 100% of base mana cost. And yes, we need some regen, I have both vitality and stone golem, but also life leech from watcher's eye and 2% life on kill from tree, so that helps a lot
yes, just regular ones here, I deal not bad dmg to them, but got insta oneshots once they start doing something, still not so good at that mechanics with not very tanky builds
Nice build, I league started with it but couldn't reach more than 15M dps with my budget and switched to another build that could benefit from crucible op items. One question, why do you add "100% more damage" in your POB while already having 2 overlaps set ups ? Aren't counting overlaps twice ?
thanks! It's arguable and we have not just 2 overlaps with awak spell cascade but 3-4 with right positioning, so I set it as kind of 4. In game it really feels like 95M DPS build, not 47M as POB says without custom mod. Look at uber shaper fight, his life drops very fast, 47M DPS build can't do that
Thanks for the reply. I skipped awakened spell cascade because it was too expensive. But if you can quadruple the damage by using 2 woke czscade then it's totally worth the cost!
You can start with it, but I don't have levelling guide, I made this char in middle league, so I had all levelling gear and then on maps I equipped all current gear that i bought earlier

@@PandaHands are your determination, purity and zealotry with lvl 3 enlighten in helmet? that's important. Also u can try to reduce lvl of precision, I am using lvl 17
maybe you have +1 curse from ascendancy? or something else, 1 guy also wrote he had some problem with cooldown, so it didn't work for him, but worked for everyone else
@@yubber5966 punishment is turned off because it's curse just for replacement to make it work, it should first curse in sockets in gloves, so mobs actually affected only by temp chains, despair and enfeeble
@@yurymartins3532 Buying on tft is not always good (actually often is bad), because builds are unpolished, some items needs upgrades, so it takes some time to finish them

@@wiqz5682 budget was 100-110 div back in 3.21 as I wrote in description. It's good that ralakesh boots are cheaper now, because 3 div is cheap compared to 11 div on day 3-4 of 3.24.

@@leopangestu5753 ah, finally found it. You took wrong ascendancy node, +1 curse instead of profane bloom explosions. This +1 curse breaks the build, because we need to be at 3 max curses (Punishment in gloves just always is replaced by other curses and u get doom blast triggers)
I don't see the reason to do that. Yes, there are pathfinders impending doom, but they are poison based, not crit, that's completely different build. Minion? idk how u imagine this
@@Umi-Dgaf never heard that people want necro with bow, shield is much better in all situations, especially aegis aurora + max real block with necro nodes
