something handy to start delving faster is to put niko near your spawn point in hideout - ctrl clicking him will open your mine chart and send you straight into the mines without the mine encampment loading screen :)
@azfanatic44 phasing is an effect that let's you pass through mobs. The "auto flask" or the craft that uses the flask when charges are full and the modifier that adds charges when hit is essentially a source of permanent phase as its always up in delve since you're constantly being hit.
Stock up on Coves maps, Scarabs, take the increased sulphite nodes on Atlas and go as deep as your build can handle. There’s really no ceiling for stopping, the deeper the better. Around 450 I start going sideways and looking for cities. I’ve probably looted 1000+ awakened sextants this league.
I find delve very useful for farming xp. I just do azurite nodes and special zones like vaal outposts. It's faster and you can get resonators and some fossils from them which can net you some currency, but overall never found delve very profiting compared to mapping with essence.
A thing I have noticed is a lot of hardcore delvers who use it as a currency strat are very secretive about what they are doing. It feels like they gatekeep to increase the price of delve items so they can have their niche.
Just like with everything in path of exile the best of the best secrets are behind closed doors. Hopefully we can figure out some information to help people get to a level of making they kind of currency. I plan to delve more next league and see what else I can find out
boneshatter juggernaut is like super S tier in delving so I would assume Slayer would be real nice as well. Only downside is that you only get life back while hitting things and sometimes if you get stuck in the dark with nothing to hit that can be scary. Slayer may have more a chance to be one shot than juggernaut also but I know slayer is nice into very deep depths, maybe just not the deepest of the deep, but who is sweating that hard anyways xD?
playing delve to me is always like loosing 10 divine per hour ^^ so i actualy just run it for fun i cannot find a way to make it profitable especialy on leaguestarts where i mostly play
I’ll have a delve league starter out soon I’m going to finish it up tonight for a video. Rudy did a great job on his league start heiro and it plays so damn well
@@QanarIsDelirious I think the currency is there. Just it’s not in the traditional way. I am pretty determined to prove that. I have talked to a ton of deep delvers and they make money hand over fist
I can look into something like this, ideally you just want to do any Boneshatter Jugg start but it will be a different setup post crucible since we lose a lot of the mods that made this version really good.
It takes days to get down deep solo with little profit if any. "i'm so new to Delving" but your @ 1000+ depth!! Bear or CART. Ten Divines an hour at 600, questionable. Aul doesn't always drop an amulet, some amulets are 10c. The Architect map is very rare.
I did it all on stream you can check all the vods, just because I have the bear too doesnt mean i bought it for delve its a cool pet. But yes I started delving this week and I am doing a race from 200-400 depth and it takes about 45 min per 100 depth pre 700. Its not hard at all to get down deep.
@@sed1tion913 We just finished racing depth 200-400 in like 2.45 hours cause of chatting and messing around on twitch chat. So its doable. Like I was typing to you during the race
@@Travic_ I found the vod, not strictly 200-400. 150+ levels in 2.45 hours, impressive progress, while streaming at the same time. Faster than I thought. No wonder Conner was surprised with Rudy's progress :D Thanks for answering my questions BTW.
@@sed1tion913 You are welcome! I was referring to Piawesome actually! If you watch the vod he beat me by a long shot and I did the vod with Rudies build which IS VERY SLOW for lower delve. If I did the race as SST I would of sped past him. Also if you noticed in the vod I also went for 3-4 fracture/faceted nodes that were heavily out of the way.
@@wilk85 The idea behind the defenses should carry over to a normal boneshatter setup. IDEA and SHOULD being the keyword. It might not work but the idea of stacking so much extra defense could be massive.
@@Travic_ well i have started with rf jugg, invested some divines, but it lacks dmg, and i dont want to pump more into thst build, which can get me to 400 depth. Im looking for something better with same amount invested
I still don't understand anything. I had a blast with the campaign. But the end game is just too complicated. You need a damn PhD for this game since the devs forgot to explain anything in the game. I did my first map yesterday but actually went backwards because I died so much. Sucks if your character sucks then you gotta start completely over in the game. It took me a month to beat the campaign. I was excited for the end game til I got to the end game
I was thinking about this comment today and I wanted to say I feel for you. Path of Exile without information is brutal and hard. The game is designed to really make you think and try to learn. I will say its a wonderful game and not to give up on it so easily. My advice to try to help would be to come by the discord and ask a billion question in the poe channel. There is a ton of great people there who are always willing to help and answer questions. You can also stop by the Twitch stream and ask a million questions too.
I feel You that was my first experience as well. Best at beginning is to pick up build guide and stick to it then after You get to understand more slowly try to change and try new things.
Yes. You definitely are making things much worse on yourself by not following a build guide. I was randomly teleported from D4 and just started PoE and I followed Zizaran's 5 hour build guide for the Toxic Rain Pathfinder, which is now 84 and continuing to excel on standard maps now that Crucible ended. I hurt myself a few times because... crafting. But that's part of learning. And I barely understand end game even with lots of guides. It's definitely not boring, at least! My suggestion is try a few mechanics until you find one you enjoy and then focus on those while you learn more about the game - and try to avoid crafting on your main gear just in case you accidentally brick the item in the process. : ( It's really easy to brick stuff because it is so complicated, even when you think you might actually understand how it works. Good luck!
For me the delve started to pay off well once i passed 500 depth mainly cuz there is much more azurite which you can trade for resonators. Also there is a lot more expensive fossil nods past 550 depth. Imho farming ancient architect turns out to be the most profitable thing amongst all the bosses. He is much more prevalent than others and somewhat much easier to kill compared to Aul.
