[PoE 3.23] How I Survive the Damage (and Lag) on an 11,000+ Wisped Abyss Map with a TS MF Deadeye

Contributing factors to survival include a 3.7k life pool with Petrified Blood, Progenesis (30% increased effect via Tincture), Defiance of Destiny (optional swap), Cloak of Flame (optional swap), Sap (Secrets of Suffering), Debilitate (Punishment gem), Berserk, instantly capping 4 Endurance charges, CWDT Immortal Call with ~75%+ Evasion. High recovery via instant leech off Warlord's Mark +0.4% global attack life leech, level 23 Vitality & 30 Life on Hit (Watcher's mod). Also a plethora of Headhunter buffs when ramped up. Not to mention a strict map regex (shown here) ► "!tal d|f ph|gen|tun|d el|rses|s rec|kes|% ma" oj
After the recording of this video, I've since made the swap from pure Ele to Phys-to-Ele Tornado Shot, which does roughly 2-3x more damage when fully ramped up. I mention this because it's had a major impact on survivability as well. Simply doing more damage goes a long ways.

Remove the glows on your filter settings, you can also set down the gobal illumination to low. Huge FPS and stability gain.

Detonate Dead or the delirium jewel that explode corpse to give you life would be also an excellent way to map in perfect fps conditions.

Well, I just swapped to Phys conversion and have less lag because stuff dies faster now. That helps.

There’s a reason I go through the arduous journey league in league out. Next league will be most satisfying due to the new defensive layer, freeze coming into play in a major way. :)

@@snoobae8553 I am in the process of making this build in standard (nowhere near this level of min max/ mirror worthy) but getting as close as possible (no way I'm ever gonna get a voices 1 or even 3 passive so I have to cut corners where I can/ have to) anything you would say is a must in terms of I have to take that *thing or this piece of gear is absolutely a must for this to work? Also to clarify, I play every league unless I really don't like the content, but I absolutely love my corner of exile I call home in standard (I get fairly attached to loot, characters, random gifts from people I've met/ played with over the years. so the build is meant to be way more relaxing than yours mainly so the 1000+ maps I have laying around feels way more rewarding and fun to do. But Should I somehow get it somewhere near yours I would of course push it as hard as you showcase here from time to time :D😁

The shrines text actually tell you what you get. When it says dark gift it's Quant and rarity. When it something about knowledge it's the exp. Have only found 1 immunity shrine so I don't know its text.

This is so awesome! Defiance + lightning coil and I never die unless I just stop attacking. I just run with my MF to get better loot while looking for altars and just keep running MF until I die. If I survive then good, if I die with a low chance of getting HH buffs back up, I just switch to tanky build. Got to the point I was running a map that I couldn't even kill the spire but they couldn't kill me as well.

My friend and I shrank all our loot labels to 20 or less except for Divines and Divine-adjacent currency/drops, and we also started using a mapping phase filter that only shows divines, belts, and guaranteed high tier uniques, where we switch to a more inclusive loot phase filter afterwards and that made our maps much more playable, on top of removing sound effects too for good measure. We do miss sound effects though.

You can set all sound effects to false in the config file of your PoE folder but keep the loot drop sounds on

Love the content! But, just so you do not g\get your hopes up next time, Dark Gift gives you item quant / rarity, Sacred gift gives you the immunity, and the ancient gift is increased experience!

I play a high budget cws build and I have no issues at all, maps are a bit slower but a lot less tiring so it's worth imo.

@@kizumiro I can and pretty easily, I have 4/5 mirrors on my build rn (cane warlock version). You cant compare a budget version of CwS to a mirrors tier TS. when you invest in CwS it performs just as well, just a very different playstyle.

Hello Snoo, I love your cootent, sometimes I leave a critical comment but even if it can be rude, I still love what you do. This time it's not a rude comment but maybe something to save your maps. Why are your maps lagging ? Not because of the monsters and the FX. But because of the loot. several things from the loot make you lag: 1) the beams, more loot = more beams 2) the fact that the game is trying to rearrange all the text boxes and you move everywhere, and it's very badly coded (sorrry GGG if you read that, but that's true). I have both the solution for you. But both are filterblade dependant. You have to go in your Filter and 1) remove the beams, seriously they are useless, at fist I was scared, in the end I need no beams 2) reduce ALL the Sizes of the loot text, i know everything will be smaller, but that means no calculation when items are out of screen. Well let me tell you you will have MUUUUUUUUCHHHH less lag, trust me. My computer is waaaay less good than yours and i have no problem.

removing beams is 100% a good choice. If it's not a divine/lock/mirror/puzzlebox/reliquary key, get rid of the beams :)

@@snoobae8553 you could also make a separate loot filter and swap it on while killing mobs that only show tinks, and then swap over to this itemfilter while looting. It gave me shitloads of fps

The lag gets insane whenever i get the biff that gives me extra projectiles. Ive crashed the client multiple times. Also... They really, REALLY need to take smoke mine out of the HH buff pool. Losing control of my character is so frustrating. Sure I dont have to use a HH, but it's fun and smoke mine makes it not so fun. I haven't had a map this insane. But I've had some insane moments. I found a mirror and a Mageblood in the same map. A Hinekoras Lock, and a HH. Some pretty amazing other T0 uniques as well. And of course the gnarly scarab explosions.

I have 2500 hours of POE in over 10 years playing, and I've never had any tier 0 or mirror drops, i think the max currency i have ever farmed in a league is 300 exalteds back in sentinel... I'm a filthy casual, I work long hours, so it's really hard to me to get going on the leagues, and I see no point playing standard... doing a map like yours is my biggest gaming dream of all times, but I've never come even close to having a powerful build like yours...

The issue with this lag is hundred percent on GGG. Since 10 years or so this Dude Neversink makes third party filters, yet GGG never even had the idea to implement in it fully into the game with his help

idk man, my gear isnt bad at all, about 5 mirror invested and i still cant run juiced t16 properly, i just die like that. and if i die from a big pack of abyss at the end of the map theres no way in hell ill be able to finish them without hh buffs. any ideas? could you check out my pob maybe? :) appraciate that

Man fulcrum is kinda slow and clunky and I've been having fomo about TS and legions, but this looks pretty stressful worrying about headhunter buffs haha. There's more or less 0% chance of bricking a map with fulcrum, it could have 12k juice and it feels the same as 5k juice survivability wise.

Fulcrum is more like a slot machine. You rely on the 5% explosion to get things done. If the rares survive, you're screwed.

The vendor at the end of Act 10 sells all regular gems like these. She can be put in your hideout once you’ve completed the campaign (Act 10) as well.

i have about 2 days of /played with the caustic arrow pathfinder build of yours and i cant do anything. barely white maps with no watchstones while doing the mechanic. i feel so stuck like never before, i dont understand, its like i was baited into a build that feels real janky and the only thing i can do for upgrades is to hope for random raw divines to drop, which is the only way ive gotten em

Feel free to ask for some help in the discord. I’m working today, but someone there might be of assistance. If you mean white maps with no juice from the league mechanic, something isn’t right. The build was not designed for a league mechanic of this difficulty. I was able to do pretty well in T7 farms with the league mechanic though.

Running 97 IIQ 503 IIR COS chieftain and i dont get as many wisps as you but get my "good" drops here and there, just wish it was more consistent and by it I mean wisp count which i guess is a skill issue. On average getting 6-7k with outliers here and there but getting 9k+ is really noticeable in terms of loot

Yes, and this league especially the real gatekeeper to phys conversion is the bow. Not that you have to have a mirrored phys bow, but comparing the budget of a high-end ele bow vs phys bow, it's smart to actually wait.

Are wisps purely RNG in the wildwood? Alot of the time I'll find myself getting 3k of one color and 1-2k of another with none of the third color or the numbers are just not there, is there a certain strategy to it?

Roll until +2 proj then exalt slam until mods are full and map fits to your regex

@@snoobae8553 Ah okay, all good there. I tried running like 10 maps with the abyss +2 and I guess maybe my MF isn't high enough because I'm not getting very much. In terms of Wisps, I'm getting anywhere from 2 to 6k (My light circle is huge and I don't know why?) None of my items have light radius so that's confusing. But how often do you see divine drops or how high should my MF be? I'm running an Omni-MF hybrid because I hate not doing damage. So I think I got a qaunt of 20ish and 60 rarity?

Headhunter buffs in their current state aren't saving a lot of people this league in a map like this, I'm afraid. I made this video because I kept getting asked over and over how I'm surviving when other people are not, yet have similar gear (but not quite the same build/setup) as me.

I swapped from CA to this build at around 2 mirrors. Mirrored the bow, had Headhunter and mostly 21/20 gems. Some expensive jewels already as well.

Seeing as how this uncut narrated map is part of the same 100 maps session featuring many highlighted cuts, intro, results, etc . . . indeed I used the same info because it's correct and people always request it if it's not present.

can't watch this , everything is bad , ele bow , vulkan , abyss , zdps , i'm sorry for this comment but i don't understand why would you do this to you'r self , i'm doing 12k maps with no problem taking all the altars 5 legions with bosses ,getting same or more d/h, phys bow and sniper's mark is like x3 dmg compared to this

Well good news for you. With the mass of currency I earned from this session, I swapped to phys>ele as well. Still not Primalist though. And yeah, it does about 2-3x more damage. zDPS a bit of a stretch xD Wait, so you're not even running Abyss? Kind of apples to Oranges then.

This video was highly requested by all kinds of people who tuned in LIVE and asked me how I'm not dying over at the first glance of an abyss. Those people asking had Headhunters and mirrored equipment too, for the most part. So that's why I made it.
