John Warner Smith is a great inspiration and treasure to the state of Louisiana. I'll always be grateful for his recommendation to the Caddo Parish Commission to appoint me as Caddo Parish Poet Laureate. He's a passionate advocate for poetry and has a vision for what he wants to manifest in the art of poetry. ThanX for your time committed as state poet laureate! A blessing indeed! #pouronthepoetry #poetsconnected
