The Director of Readings & Workshops West, Jamie Asaye FitzGerald, hosts a Virtual Check-In Meeting for literary presenters from across the SoCal region to share and connect on the theme “Where We Are Now.” Featuring guests representing Ventura County Poetry Project, Sims Library of Poetry, Inlandia Institute, VCP SoCal Poets, PEN America-Los Angeles, San Diego Writers Ink, Women Who Submit, Beyond Baroque, and Tia Chucha's Centro Cultural.
Our goals for these convenings are to foster community and strengthen connections, help facilitate an exchange of information and resources, encourage literary activity, educate and inform, and share information about P&W resources, including our mini-grants in support of virtual readings and workshops.
