Watch Pidcock descend, race cyclocross, race MTB and also watch his interview after Pogi's win, then please re-write your comment like you didn't just discover bike racing yesterday.
@@colingrover2039 PiddlecocK? Not even a Tour podium, Pogo 2 wins plus 2x 2nd (that alone makes him poo all over Piddle) but also 2x Lombardi plus Flander plus LBL. Piddle has 0 Monuments Pogo has 5. You are a joke if you think the 2 are even close.
@@colingrover2039 Pidcock is far behind Vanderpoel and Van Aert in cyclocross and far behind the top guns in road cycling. Pidcock said he's going for general classification at the tour this year... What a joke
The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command. George Orwell, 1984 Tom Piddock"I have no words tbh" Yeah, we agree Tom.
Tadej is the new Genevieve Jeanson. GJ was so well prepared that she would bolt from the gun and finish 20 minutes ahead of her opponents -- all by herself. The hubris and ego of human beings knows no bounds.
What is not normal here? I mean sure, if you look at the number of KMs it looks crazy, but hear me out for a second. Strade is the perfect race to do this. Everything is a chaos, everything, basically there are no teams, just everyone for themselves. The gravel sections make even working together with other riders almost impossible. If the strongest rider gets away in a race like this, there is simply no way to catch them. There can hardly be any cooperation, so they won't lose significant time to a bigger group.
There was no one at his level, e.g. MvdP, van Aert, Cringegaard, Roglic, etc... These are the ones who could follow him. Also he rides wide tyres, which can be faster on bad roads...
How old is strade exactly? That is why. This is the perfect race for an 80 km attack. Paris Roubaix would be good too but the competition is so much higher there that it's not possible (probably)
i mean this is not that mutant. He is the best rider in this race by a margin. The team ripped it up, he attacked and the everyone else behind gave up. If there was an actual coherent chase he would have been caught
The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command. George Orwell, 1984 To quote Tom Piddock ""I have no words to be honest" Yeah, us too Tom.
In the past before having access to performance enhancing substances you had to create a reputation, and the age of winning cyclists where around 30 or more. Now they start to give the best juice to the 18, 19 old. That is why after 30 there are only a few riders still competitive.
Pogi has been doing a lot of elevation work and also dropped weight like he needed to. You train right and you can make big gains. Should be a very interesting TdF. My money is on Pogacar for sure!
@@tofermauerhan If your gains are marginal either you are training wrong or you were already training correctly to begin with. My training regimen is going to bring me a Masters National Championship - you can book it!
I doubt it’ll be that straight forward. It’s arguable that pogi is superior in more disciplines than Jonas. The only hope Jonas has is to drop him in the mountains and I’m not certain that’ll happen this season once this giro doesn’t drain much out of him. I honestly don’t think he will go deep to win the giro. I think he’ll do just enough.
@@ggstreams5136Pogi has always been better in more disciplines than Jonas but how has that helped him the last 2 tours? And now he wants the Giro too while Jonas is prepping? Jonas has been better in the 2 things that determines the tours. The Big mountains and the tour TTs. And this years tour has even more High mountains. Its Pogi who has to hope.
To be fair, the peloton was already split to pieces by other riders before Pogi attacked. Yes it was a monster performance, but it was not like there was a whole peloton chasing, just a small group of tired riders who did not cooperate in the chase. So in that context it is more likely to make it in a long breakaway. Pretty much same as in Paris Roubaix, where very often solo riders or small groups can stay away.
Pog, MvdP, Vingegaard, Pidcock, Wout, and Nino are all juiced, but they’re still fun to watch. Hopefully none of them lose livers/kidneys in the process.
Agreed, there all juice heads but juice only gets you so far then it’s who wants it more and it’s these guys that want it more than anyone else. Just legalise it
and all of that with a set of HOOKLESS wheels, with this mans acceleration they must have poped off easy…. there also have must been some MAGIC JUICE in it
I really need this continental breakfast at Kolobnev`s Hotel , despite not exactly being aware of where this Hotel is situated , .... anyway : So Pogi will get 8647 Points !!!
Not defending Pogacar, but someone did a video on his surprisingly good aerodynamics. He is also reaching his peak male physicality. Again, I've felt he was on the sauce-ology back in 2020.
But of course! But listening is also a wise use of someone’s time. Such as Lemond on the Roadman post cast/youtube channel stating he did not think TP was doping. If the only tool you have is a hammer, you tend to see every problem as a nail.
C'mon UCI, at least make it entertaining. Tell pogi to slow down so at least one other cyclist can be seen trying to chase him down in the background. He's stinking up the show!
@@cyclinghighlights was Greg Lemond clean? I really like his RU-vid interviews too but have wondered about his recovery from the hunting accident and rapid improvement. Also, EPO was developed and tested in 1987 and approved for market in 1989. Blood bags were developed by US Navy for pilots with published research in 1947.
There was also never evidence on Lance Armstrong. Asking for evidence is a fear based cognitive dissonance question. Every normal honest person knows cycling is corrupt to the bone. Face the oncomfortable truth...
He arrived at the finish line and was still fresh😂😂😂 the group behind fucked up without collaborating each other so they looked like junior riders...crazy they didnt have a plane...he was gonna win anyway but maybe with less margin
Was this also.... a case of attacking then using the italian moto's (not shown no TV) to pace for the first 20mins of his breakaway. Classic mafioso tactic
I think I’m going to take up selling replacement windows because judging by the naive idiots on here there’s a fortune to be made. “Just send me your life savings for your Amazon parcel delivery”!!
Rice and beans? Did you ate with him? You don't know biochemistry, you are a stone thrower. And what means to be first? You are the strongest or the others are weaker? Who are those from second and third place? Are they the best to compete with Pogacar for the win? Never heard of them. Were others in good shape? You don't know. He attacked nobody followed, and nobody made a reasonable pursuit, so time increased, good tactics when you know your competitors and what they are able to do, good training too... and logically speaking, who risks to dope in a small race, what is the prize/fame for winning this race? He already has a fame, has money, he doesn't need to fool around, maybe in tdf or wchamps, he's not a newbie to prove something.
About 1700m total climbing for 80Km in which he averaged 39km/h. That's in 220km race with 3900m total, with a lot of dirt road sectors. Na triathlete alive would finish 15 minutes behind Pogi
I stopped watching the race. This dude is so doped, that he doesn't know where it ends & begins. The UCI should just make doping legal. No shame in the game!!!
@@cyclinghighlights you are the best! i am Pogi fan from Slovenia and I SUPPORT your criticism. You are rare intelligent voice, you are the only one who is corageous enough to tell the truth- there is cheating and doping everywhere and it is not OK!!!
