If you include Beast Wars/Beast Machines in this idea; I'd say that there are a couple possible .1%ers. Waspinator- He may not have the raw power; but he's nigh on unkillable! He he survives damn near everything! I mean the guy got shoved head first into Rampage's cannon barrel and was fine... eventually. I'd say his inability to actually call any bot by their name might be a sign of either Cybertronian brain damage, a trauma reaction, or the most mild case of whatever derangement these bots tend to suffer from. Rampage- Yes, I know Rampage's background as an experiment and that much of his unique traits stem from that. I'm suggesting that his physical strength and raw power could be an explanation for how he survived the experiment; while said operation just made things worse. Transmutate- her protoform was damaged by raw energon if I remember right; but I'm suggesting that her destructive power might fit here. Tarantulas- deranged: check, durable as f**k: it took Tigerhawk to put him down for good. Powerful: I'd say his unhinged genius makes up for any shortfall in power. Tigerhawk: If neither Airazor or Tigatron qualify; then couldn't whatever the Vok did might have made the resulting bot into an artificial .1%er? Like a more successful version of Rampage. Depth Charge: He caught, and bested Rampage; consistently! Enough said! Rhinox: He and Waspinator are the only bots from each side's original crews that survived the entire Beast War without any kind of upgrade; intentional or accidental; and his combat effectiveness never wavered, nor did his intellect. But; look at any time where his personality was altered by an outside source; he becomes as megalomaniacal as BW Megatron! Strika and Obsidian: I'm convinced one or both of them might've been Phase Sixers, if not .1%ers.

G1 Starscream and Beast Wars Waspinator would definitely be Point-One Percenters. In their case, they have immortal sparks (and in the case of Waspinator he's well known for surviving being completely disassembled). Guzzle from IDW was definitely also one, as he gained more power from consuming Energon in any form (especially harvested from other bots, making him an Energon vampire.) G1 Warpath could also be one. I'd like to imagine that the cannon in his chest is directly powered by his spark.

4:38 “Addiction to nucleon results in loss of transformation ability.” INCORRECT. Pharma told Ratchet in MTMTE #5 that Tarn was addicted to transforming. It was a relatively common addiction. That’s what burned out his T-Cog and sent him off seeking replacements. You did a whole video about this storyline 4 months ago.

My headcanon is that Optimus's POP power was his wireless control of his limbs like that 1 episode in G1 where he was re-engineered into an alligator. While obviously never demonstrated in the comics, I like to think that his power was the bluetooth limbs considering no one else did it until Beast Wars, and they are shown to have massively different physiologies from the bulkier older models of cybertronians.

Quick thing, being constructed cold and having a cloned spark were not mutually exclusive. Cold construction just meant having a pre-made body instead of growing and shaping your own in the natural forging process. I think there were some normal sized one-percentors but I never noticed how many of them were chonkers.

Maybe beastwars megatron when he went transmetal? He was obsessed with the golden disks, and once he became trans metal 2, he was extremely powerful, not to mention what he did in beast machines

To be fair, Ambus’s actual head didn’t get crushed. He was, in reality, an even smaller dude, piloting a dude, piloting an Ultra Magnus suit.

While he never showed any signs of being as powerful as the Point One Percenters, I'm actually suspicious of Beast Wars Cheetor. In the events of "Feral Scream," during his mutation into a Transmetal 2, there were several moments when Cheetor's spark glowed with a green light. Whether this is Cheetor being a POP, was somehow mutated into one via the trasformation into a TM2, or just flavor done by Mainframe to show something unnatural happening to Cheetor, your guess is as good as mine. However, TM2 Cheetor was one of the few bots who could toe-to-toe with Rampage and TM2 Dinobot.

I wonder how the Quintessons (G1 Storyline/history) dealt with this phenomenon. Obviously they would rather gather blue sparks to build their slave bots, but I'm confident that they would have been right up there with experimenting with the green sparks. Unfortunately this idea of blue and green sparks wasn't part of the G1 storyline because it does make sense that if the Quintessons did experiment with green sparks and putting them into bots this could have been the beginning of their downfall and Transformers uprising.

They said Deathsaurus was constructed cold, and therefore not a .1%er.

Controversial, but Hightide from Rescue Bots seems like he could be a point one percenter, especially with his Megabot form

I'd say Tigerhawk in Beast Wars would most definitely count as a 0.1%er. Dude was an absolute beast.

Got a video suggestion for ya. Been getting back into transformers for a past couple of months. Currently on Armada. How about “strongest humans in the transformers universes.” Or if that’s too specific “strongest non robotic characters or species” I always loved the idea of humans at least being able to keep up with the transformers interesting and worth exploring. Edit: love ya videos dude! One of the reasons I started to rewatch old transformers media

Hot Shot from Cyberverse could fit this. While it might not seem like much, he survived a dip in the toxic Energon waste swamp. Drift did not survive this in comparison. Grimlock also survived a lot of stuff he seemingly shouldn't have. Both could be Point One Percenters, based on their durability feats at least.

It'd be really cool to see you talk about the outliers too. As their special abilities are seen throughout all of transformers but only ever classified as special in IDW, just like the heavyweights.

I believe that supersparks (point one percenters) were a thing even back in G1 comics.

For Beast Wars, I'd reckon that most characters are .1 percenters due to the great upgrade, but let's say supersparks still exist. For the cartoon continuity, I'd say any bot hit by the energy pulse that made them a transmetal would count. Depth Charge and Rampage give off that vibe, and Magmatron would ABSOLUTELY be one

G1 Starscream was just immortal. But i do much prefer the explanation that it was sheer willpower and refusal to die that turned him into a ghost. Similarly, cybertron Starscream was bonkers powerful, even before stealing primus' essence, but that also felt like sheer willpower.

I can’t remember which continuity it was but it was revealed that Starscream had an immortal spark, making him nigh unkillable, seperate from transformers animated starscream who had a fragment of the all spark in his head

The unnamed Titans in Fall of Cybertron might be Point-One Percenters, like the ones you fight at the end of the "Belly Of The Beast" level where you play as Swindle. I could be wrong though, since they seem a little weaker than the characters listed in this video.

Guys…I just got a theory…what if Mirage from Rise of the Beasts…is a 0.1%-er? He can basically transform into anything, even though his robot mode just has his Porsche mode parts. I think it’s due to him being able to have crazy powerful hologram technology, as well as some mass-shifting that he uses in conjunction with his holograms to disguise himself as anything! That sounds like a point one percenter to me. Or a phase-sixer, or both!

I'm not sure if this was confirmed, but BW Rampage and Transmutate are likely candidates. And then, for my two cents, I think Botanica maybe one as well.

I would put G1 Starscream in the .1% because he has an indestructible spark. Allowing him even without a body to posses other transformers. And of course that would make Rampage of Beastwars also one. Since he was failed experiment from the Maximals to replicate Starscreams indestructible spark.

Funny thing: The Transformers Cybertron main cast could probably wipe the floor with most point one percenters. like literally even the likes of scattershot and overhaul (in base forms) could kill half these people with cyber key power lol

The Point-One-Precentors really were just another example of IDW not understanding Transfomers. Grimlock was powerful because he was a DINOBOT, not because he had a mutant spark. Triple-changers are powerful because of their rare T-Cogs that allows for an extra alt-mode. Same with Sixshot, he's powerful because he has six-modes. Optimus is powerful because he was rebuilt by Alpha Trion AND has the Matrix of Leadership. Ultra Magnus is powerful because he combines with his trailer to super robot mode. It's the TECHNOLOGY that makes them stronger, like being a Headmaster, Targetmaster, Powermaster or Cityformer. The only character that really qualifies as a having a mutant spark, is Starscream. His spark lived even after death. You could argue that characters with a Mitotic Spark would qualify. In which case Sky-Lynx, Overlord and Duo-Con type Transformers would be. In Beast Wars, only Rampage really qualifies, as his mutant spark allowed him to regenerate any battle damage. Beast Wars Neo Magmatron has a Mitotic Spark as the only Trio-Con.

There is actually a video where someone tried to figure out he is the strongest Optimus Prime though I'm not sure if they included IDW.

Beast Wars: Rampage and somewhat: Megatron if not in Beast Wars, then definitely something by beast machines as hes got a bunch of weird spark related things going on by that point.

I think Lio Convoy could be a .1%. He did a lot of amazing things in Beast Wars 2 and then got warped to Beast Wars Neo to help Big Convoy.

G2 comics Jhiaxus whooped Megatron then went on to whoop Optimus almost to death before the swarm killed him. G1 comics Thunderwing was another ass kicker and in IDW was whooping autobots and deceptions combined before being stopped

Honestly, I don't think there's anyone in the Prime universe that I'd peg as a .1% outside the obvious. Skyquake and Dreadwing were powerful, but not _that_ powerful. The only possible exception I could think of is Makeshift, but even then, I'd peg him more as that universe's equivalent of an Outlier.

Transformers from the comics that I think are 0.1%ers: Thunderclash (held the matrix and is known as theost heroic autobot) Galvatron (tore magatron into two and was able to stand against prime)
