Thanks for posting this nostalgia. Poison at the National Tennis Centre - 1 July 1989. My first concert. I was 16. Barely knew them but friends (not cats) dragged me. I certainly had nothing but a good time! Would love to get a recording of that concert but in the decades since, nothing has surfaced. And what computer did they take on tour with them in 1989? Any laptop back then would have been so big as to require its own roadie! Love hearing the media talking about the controversy of Poison. Imagine if they knew what was around the corner to scare parents.... Eminem, Marilyn Manson, Norwegian Black Metal, Cannibal Corpse..... :)
@JLBZ91 I think they are pretty much alike except for the drugs, there are much more drugs surrounding Motley Crue, but groupie-wise I'd say they're pretty much on the same level, Hell I wouldn't be surprised at all if Bret Michaels holds the record for groupies in the 80s
Well I like both Poison & Mötley Crüe they are both really kick ass bands so is guns n roses but I saw both bands & I got to say Vince's voice sucks now he can't sing anymore he mine as well call it quits he made enough money but in the other hand bret still can sing his voice is way better than Vince's voice now a days bret still sings like he's 25 again but just to say I like both poison & Mötley Crüe they both rule
@Fr0zty i hate it to break it to you but both Poison and Motley Crue weren't always banging female groupies; much of the time, they ignored all the girls and brought a guy or 2 on the bus for some action.
