i don't care wat anyone says , today's music has nothing on the 80's. ROCK ON boys!!!! i was born in '76. i grew up on poison , motley crue , gorky park , metallica , megadeth , etc.... the list is way too long to mention here.
December 2019,and I'm still here...I absolutely love 1980's rockin hair band's,30yrs later and I'm still here.. Anybody else in here with me?? I love Brett and the boy's of Poison!!
I've seen them 20+ times. I stopped counting years ago. I still go now when the come around but now instead of taking my girlfriend she's my wife and any of our kids who'll go.
C.C. is my favorite guitarist. No I'm not saying he plays better than anyone else. I just love his personality when he's playing, he looks like he's having fun. His personality makes him my favorite guitarist, and he's one hell of a guitarist too!
I've never understood some of the negativity same magazines have to say about CC and his playing. I don't care if " Every rose has its thorn's solo is slow he could have done much more with it" as they say. When i listen to that solo, to me it's perfect 💯. The feel of it paints a picture reflecting the vocals. And i love the " Life goes on" solo just as much ( in the ballad section).
I was at their concert in Nashville, Tennessee when they shot their video for Your Mama Don't Dance. It was probably the wildest concerts I ever attended in terms of fan excitement. C.C. played the best guitar solo that seemed like it lasted forever! He really is a talented and underrated player! I didn't realize how good he was until then; he made a believer out of me! He is a classically trained player that loves rock and roll and you can tell he has fun playing.
@@slowjoe108 yeah and there's a lot of people out there that would say Eddie Van Halen copied off of people too. But he was amazing. You might want to check out a unknown guy named Angus Young since you're in the mood to be snarky. All of these artists are good at their particular genre.
Poison was never a band that was trying to reinvent the wheel of Hard Rock!!!! They were all about playing good time fun Rock!!!! They weren't the best musicians but they sure put on an awesome live show every time I had seen them live!!! I have seen them live 3 times so far!!!!🙂😊🤗☺😀😄😃
I love that CC has never played this song the same twice. It's like every time he plays it, he's playing it for the first time, and just making it up as he goes 🤣
For those who think CC can't play, he actually can. He just play wild for Poison because in his words that's what the fans want. In other words he's playing to the audience.
To people who think he doesn't... need to go to the doctor!! He is fvkg AWESOME!! As Steve Stevens and EVH (+) was. Is the "hard soul" and the "glam look" of Bred what actually make POISON Alive forever!!!!
C is like a cartoon character, and superhero all rolled into one and I love how he yells for everything. One of the best personalities in the past 50 years or more.
Tara Gosselin 1 second ago Poison - You all are #1 in my book -Besides KISS - I have seen more Poison shows than I can count! 😎💯🤘 I am thankful CC has turned his life around for the better, it's a blessing and Amen he has faced his demons and continues to rock it! CC Deville you rock my world 😎💓you are such a personable kind soul with a hilarious personality. I think you are very Hansome, hot & sexiest man alive ❣BTW I am NOT some crazy fan, just a country gal & single businesswoman. Your guitar playing is so incredible with very unique qualities which are truly underestimated, you're a Genius! C.C. DeVille dating history Who is he dating right now? According to our records, C.C. DeVille is possibly single. OMG I totally would be indebted if I could meet this man!!!!🙏🙏🙏
The tour with Def Lep, Motely.... I'd being willing to bet Poison steals the show every night. I was never a huge Poison fan at all... But even I have to admit that live.. They just plain kick ass.
Wow, 15 years after the original recording of this track and they still play it damned well. So many bands can't do their tracks well after that amount of time but these guys are still working wonders!
Poison is totally a hair/chick band BUT...they are extremely talented and are amazing musicians, no doubt about it. They are one hair band that Everyone likes, no matter how heavy you like your music
If one more person uses the word "underrated" on these blogs I am going to vapor lock. Good f*****G GOD.. JUST SAY WHAT U FEEL.. Poison was wicked good please just say it Tony
This track was released in 1988 & this video was recorded in 2003 & the it sounds phenomenal! The band is tight, the vocals are strong & the energy is incredible! Plus, I agree with an earlier comment: CC is a very underrated guitar player.
That wasn't Bobby. They had their usual side-stage keyboardist there singing the backing vocals. Watch closely at 4:09. Who sings the word "life"? It's not Bret...and Bobby is miles away from the mic. It's the keyboardist offstage doing the backing vocals. They have one on every tour.
The crowd at this gig was small because it was a special gig at the Roxy on Labor Day of 2002 at the end of the Hollyweird tour. The concert attendees were radio contest winners and guests of the band. I was there. When I was standing in line outside to get in, C.C.'s dad was right behind me. He looks exactly like an older version of C.C. too!
Thank you Bret, CC and Rickki Rocket (my favorite drummer) too bad Bobby Doll wasn't there because thanks to y'all I began my music because my aunts and uncles turned me to yalls music! 👍🏽 #SouthTexas
Debatable whether CC DeVille is the greatest guitarist in the world, but he did study music at New York University under Itzack Perlman. He had to know a thing or two about music just to get in. Guy cracks me up anyhow.
Thank you for posting! That's totally amazing! C.C.'s such an awesome guitarist! His solos are way too cool! They're all great musicians =). I still love Poison! Always have and always will! =)
My MOTHER , OF ALL PEOPLE, DEDICATED this song to me when it FIRST CAME OUT!!!!!! she's in her 70's now but respects me with my F*** ups....... Can't believe she heard it b4 I did.... .... 20 + years ago.... WTF DID I MISS HAHAHA
Uh no, he was higher than the space station here, you can tell by Bret's nervous laughter reactions to his babbling......then doing meaningless tricks instead of the chords to the damn song and butchering the solo. The only reason it even sounded decent is because Bret had a guitar too.
He’s got ADHD and prior to understanding it more in recent years one of the go to drugs for people with that condition was cocaine. If you see a lot of the interviews back when he was a hide addict he was calmer which sounds counter intuitive but that’s why so many turned to cocaine.
