There was a clear negative shift in the relationship between Emily and Sera in Hazbin Hotel once Emily found out that Sera had made the decision to create an annual extermination. Emily had been fed lies by the person she trusted the most. She couldn’t believe Sera had been killing all of these souls and keeping something so big away from her. As the angel of joy it pained her to know that Sera had been behind an operation that brought suffering to so many people. After seeing this very different and much angrier side of Emily I decided to rewrite Poison from her perspective on how she felt towards Sera following the court room scene 🔥
