This week I decided to swap out the flexible lower links in exchange for some Vanquish Products Titanium links. I then took the stock lower links and used them to modify the look of the cage.
It's really hard to remember how rigs/projects have come together in the past but this definitely is a great refresher. Seems we get in such a hurry to do everything possible to a model that the upgrades overtake the value quickly. Thanks!

I can't believe the links were $50 just for lowers. I think I'll keep making mine with all thread and brake line. I've never had a problem with them, but then again maybe I'm not as hard on mine as some people. All three of my axial kit based rigs have bone stock axles and transmissions. I have twisted the driveshafts in my Wraith like you did but sleeving them on the inside has helped that. I run a traxxas 21t 550 in that truck on 3s and novak 55's in my two scx-10s on some old stick packs.
Just installed my 10 peice link kit from Vanquish along with the cms and panhard also u did the cage mod, like the look alot better than stock. Thanks fo the video
Thanks for the cage mod part!! I always wondered how guys did this and maintained the stock width cage. Just takes a little thinking which I didn't do, hehehe. I will do this to my one Wraith that has the DC Jeep body. I have a cage mode similar but I mounted the lower links totally different and really it was a pain it the butt the way I did mine. I am Zippoman over on RCC. :)

Yeah, I'm going through your older stuff again. *This time,* because of something very special....a good friend is GIFTING me a new Axial Wraith Spawn Kit!!!!! 👍👍😱😱😀😀 It's my first Axial Product ever, and I couldn't be more excited! The Vanquish Hubs look like a great idea, so I'll try to get some of those. The *Fastback Mod" loos SO cool, I will probably do that too - even though mine will have the SUV type Body. *Question:* Do you know of anyone who has just cut the whole top off of the Spawn Body??? Would it look similar to the Poison Spyder Body? I like the topless look. Thanks for these great Series!! This one will be a big help on my soon upcoming Build.
