Poisonous? Gee, Thanks A Lot, Tuffy!!! - Wood Turning 

African Sumac. According to one source, when doing a search for "Toxicity of African Sumac," "All parts of the tree are poisonous to humans." This gave me pause but I decided to turn it, anyway. It's used in yards for landscaping so it just didn't seem like it would be a poisonous tree around people.
