Hmm, this didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. Groudon coming out at the start is obvious as this team is clearly a Sunny Day team. Perhaps I should've copied Charizard instead, though both Pokémon could potentially have known Solarbeam. I also messed up in attacking Charizard after Blast Burn ended, forgetting that Charizard would need to recharge.
Overall, though, I do like what I've done with the Anton Pass. I think it has the best win ratio of all of my passes so far.
I used Kangaskhan, Ditto, Abomasnow, and Nidoking. My opponent used Groudon, Charizard, Roserade, and Jumpluff.

I don't know why people are all over the shinies. His Gengar certainly wasn't...and from what I could tell, neither was his Shiftry. I know people with lots more than just 4 (and I'd appreciate the wealth being passed my way ^.^). I like the look of Weather Ball in the Hail. That little snowflake inside the ball with all the colors around it is really neat. Your opponent took advantage of the weather YOU caused. That was well-played. Great battle for both sides. ^.^

Some people rush their choices, you have a Time Limit for that time to let yourself think without Stalling the match.

Focus Sash only works when the Pokémon holding it still has full health, which Abomasnow didn't have.

I wonder how Kangaskhan can continue fighting if its baby keeps on slipping out of the mother's pouch? I guess that baby must have a rock-hard head or can recover quickly from a fall or something.

Good point...it's just Kangaskhan isn't super bulky, so Speed drop after the White Herb might be a problem.

the point of icy wind in this case is that both of your enemies are grasstype which have a weakness against icetype attacks. And if i'm not completely mistaken then icy wind would even hit both enemies at the same time meaning: if you used icy wind you probably would have won the last round

In retrospect, hitting Charizard after Blast Burn provided for a heavier hit on Groudon from Blizzard. (Or is the damage split from those moves in double battles not present in 4th gen, I kinda forgot)

The damage isn't halved but multiplied by 0.75 for each Pokémon the attack hits in Generation IV games. It doesn't matter if the move affects all the Pokémon besides the user (Discharge) or only both opponents (Muddy Water).

You can get all shiny starters by soft reseting before an egg with the starter in it hatches. I got all shiny Kanto starters. Shiny legends can be caught by reseting before you fight it, I only got shiny Rayquaza

I'm surprised he didn't use Flamethrower against your Abomasnow....also that Jumpluff is surprisingly slow... I never said it before but wouldn't Megahorn be a better option over Poison Jab? I mean, it does the same amount of power and despite the accuracy drop, it does but the hurt on Grass and Psychic types. Pretty unfortunate loss.

I agree. Besides Stone Edge is less accurate than Flame Thrower (Stone Edge has 80 for accuracy compared to 100 with Flame Thrower).

well that is also true i admit, but the point is, why didn't you then just use icy wind or Blizzard instead of Protect. Because protect often fails if you use it a few times in a reow

@Overhazard nod, OU has become synonymous with overused in general, meaning way too many people use it xD But yeah, in tier classification it would in fact be UBER and UU. I find smogon tiers are basically for ultra obsessed fighters. Charizard is used in the slightly more casual field more than UU would suggest. Mostly because everyone wants a dark charizard xD You still did extremely well :)

She probably got these through using Action replay codes or using a save game editor. Sad thing is, thousands of people do that.

Well sure but some pokemon may in fact have bad types but can have strong attacks. I know Abomasnow is just like that from experiance

Nidoking has Sunny Day. I had intended to pair Nidoking and Abomasnow together when I made this team, but it wound up not working as well as I had hoped.

why did you keep using protect with abo? you could just have used blizzard and kill them in one hit. i could understand the first protect but after that i thought it was a bit stupid

To, uh, slow them down so that they can still kill you, but with a lower speed. That'll show them! Without sarcasm, I guess that move is useful in teams based around it

You got robbed blind in that battle. If nidoking's fire punch was a critcal hit on jumpluff you would've won the battle. Still good battle none the less lol.

@ToxicTurquoise454 First of all you might be confusing ev trained with normally ev trained. Just because you haven't ev trained it doesn't mean it hasn't gained lots of evs. Generally when not specifically eving for a stat, you end up with rounded stats, but maybe you accidentally ended up fighting more pokemon that gave 1 ev in a certain stat with skuntank. Secondly, when something has evs and ivs, you might get 0, 1, 0, 1, 39 in a stat. It's pretty chaotic WHEN you'll receive ev/iv points.

Icy wind would've made groudon slower which would be pointless seeing as blizzard would've knocked him out on the spot Besides Groudon is usually a slow pokemon.... :/

As long as you don't hack Pokemon with insane stats or impossible-to-have abilities, they're useable. I've Pokesaved as a last resort when the breeding got really annoying.

He would have lost anyways, Roserade and jumpluff are way faster than this fat ass of abomasnow, his whole team was a bunch of fat slowpoke ass, he deserves to lose. He payed to have killed Groudon with his fucking Kangashkan.
