After watching this, I'm convinced Ghetsis should've absolutely had Genesect as his ace. Imagine how mindblowing it would be to see the antagonist use a Pokemon you couldn't catch yourself.
When I first saw feraligatr, I was like "What, no Gyarados?", but then I realize sheer force REALLY helps feraligator here, especially with life orb, plus ingamwise, it takes electric attacks. Genesect is a fantastic addition btw, and out of all the normal original team, elektross isn't butchered by weaknesses and has decent offense and defense, and looks pretty cool in my opinion. Dusknoir and drapion holds pretty well as well. Really nice job Dray.
Maybe Gyarados would have been a better idea, because it’s more commonly used by evil teams than Garchomp. Heck, Cyrus uses a Gyarados in his final team in Platinum. Edit: Ghetsis used a Gyarados in VoltWhite.
I like it overall but the fact that his Hydreigon has Draco Meteor is weird to me. I mean, it rocked Frustration in B&W2, so it's pretty much clear that this thing's happiness is supposed to be rock bottom. It learning Draco Meteor is out of the question. Though I suppose it helps make it scarier.
One could always say that Ghetsis faked being caring about his Pokémon just so that they could learn stronger attacks...although that Frustration did hit like an 18-wheeler.
@SinisterHoodedFigure I think I did actually consider Gyarados but because Cheren uses one in one of his teams I was hesitant to do so. Repeating Pokémon on important trainers sems pointless when there's so many to choose from, y'know? Glad you like Genesect though, that's probably the most wild addition I did to any of the rosters
My ideal team for Ghetsis in Blaze Black (Plot Wise) * Rhyperior (Lv 75) Implies that Ghetsis defeated and stole Giovanni’s Pokémon, then forced it to evolve. * Weavile (Lv 75) Implies the same for Cyrus * Hydreigon (Lv 77) Ghetsis’ classical ace * Genesect (Lv 79) The Pokémon invented by Team Plasma * Mewtwo (Lv 81) The rebellious clone of Mew. It’s still unknown how he got his hands on it. * Kyurem (Lv 85) Ghetsis’ last resort and the perfect counter to either of the legendary dragons. No matter who faced him, his son or the protagonist, he could be sure to defeat them.
you know I never got to play black or white on the ds and my brother felt bad for me so when this hack mod was released he showed t to me and I was so happy but it seemed so hard to me and I was real young so I didnt understand why it was challenging
@xexezinho1 there isn't (well, aside from some random one with a level 100 blissey in the dome iirc) there are, however, three trainers with a level 99 pokémon
@20PKShock Uhh, to be honest I didn't even bother checking, I just went for the first Clamperl I got. Gardevoir, Roserade and Gothitelle are the only ones I particularly care about genderwise~
@drybowserman9091 Mono Flying will probably be the best you get I would consider running through it again but 5th gen goes at a snail's pace >>; If I had a better comp I would, but it's just too difficult to do at the moment
in the pokemon volt white hack they made serperior a grass/dragon type and you are actually able to teach it draco meteor... but you need to catch a snivy with the ability contrary first (you are able to catch one in the pinwheel forest)... it can learn leaf storm as well ^^ huge power!! text me for rom if you want to try it out ;)
@PokemonBlacknWhite60 doesn't work like that unfortunately :/ i actually changed the event, so you'd have to start a new game to take advantage of everything
I think its funny that you changed rotoms ability to motor drive, yet levitate is way better on it. it now has that pesky ground weakness and electric was only neutral before so it made rotom WORSE
Couldn’t Game Freak have given Fan Rotom a different ability? Because Electric/Flying with Levitate is very redundant. Both Flying-types and Pokémon with Levitate are “ungrounded” (the opposite of “grounded,” which in Pokémon terms means “vulnerable to Ground-type moves”), so would that mean it’s double-ungrounded?
