Pokémon Conquest Hardcore Nuzlocke But I Can Only Use FIRE TYPE Pokémon!!
Hi everyone! In this video I'll be attempting a hardcore nuzlocke using only shiny Pokémon.
Rules for this run:
- If a pokémon faints, it can’t be used anymore, so all warriors with this specific pokémon must either link with another pokémon or leave the army.
- There is a strength cap at the next kingdom’s total strength. The sum of my own army’s strength must be below it.
- I can only use fire type Pokémon or Pokémon that will eventually evolve into a fire type.
- Dupes clause: Pokémon of the same species or evolutionary family can’t be stationed in the same kingdom, but can be stationed in separate kingdoms.

My favourites are Stadium 1&2, Snap, MD series, and conquest is there on my top5! (Never played the Gcube ones, meither the new Snap, so ot can change a littleonve i've played them)

Hahah I know what you mean, this is the game that actually got me into sengoku jidai and Japanese history in general. I think the characters are so well integrated and the dialogue is fun too! You should 1000% check it out!!

I was initially gonna do water types! But the fire types in this game were just too cool haha! I'll do more conquest in the future but currently have some other ideas. I'd like to try a speed run of this game at some point tho, and maybe also a dragon type nuzlocke?

I used to play this game when I had a DS I and it was so much fun. I'd love to see you do more of these as the idea of only using one typing in that game never occurred to me. The game itself was more difficult sometimes after that main game so I didn't complete it all like some people. I'm surprised a lot haven't heard of it. I honestly hope pokemon does a second one too.

Haha might've made it seem easy, but some fights were actually pretty hard (namely the rock and water battle). Also I found that having fewer strong Pokémon on your army is so much better than having many weak Pokémon. That made things quite easy a lot of times!

I love this game the only part you got wrong was that the enemy kingdom will attack. that only happens in the post-game challenges. I could be completely wrong because the NPC's never attacked me but I'm pretty sure only the post-game ones attack back

According to some forums, they should occasionally start attacking after Shingen/Kenshin if a kingdom is empty. But you are right in that it happens way more frequently in other stories!

For the emulation part: download any emulator that works for your computer such as desmume or openemu and then you just download the ROM (should be fairly straight forward to find).

Great Nuzlocke! If you do another one of these monotypes in Conquest, Bug might be a good candidate since most of the Unova bugs are there along with a couple other additions. Plus, Yoshimoto is recruitable in the main story.

I remember when I got this game and thought nothing of it since it wasn't a main series game but then I started loving it to the point that I cried over the fact that I lost the game cartridge. I now play it on a emulator tiring to finish all the post-quest and get all the perfect links

Really loved to see the nuzkocke form in Conquest It's one of my favourite spin-offs too Hope you can do a dark type or, if it's too out of hand to get then early game, normal type challenge in Conquest. I think those are very interesting runs, because of the pokémon usage! Normal would probably be the most digficult one, and dark i think it's tricky e fun Great video! Liked the concept a lot!

Loved this game when I was a teen never thought about doing challenges in it. When I saw Legends Arceus I thought of this game was it just me? Keep up the great work and keep being awesome. I've started my nuzlocke. Had to add one rule though. Am doing water, so you need to conquer 2 castles before that. If you think of only using water Pokémon, you basically can only use Eevee !which means he would be reeeeally overleveled). By adding "trainers that can link with water Pokemon" you add just one until you conquer grass (and then you add a few more) But you have to use their base link which mean it's like a normal playthrough. I think these mono type nuzlockes are best when done in senior warlords stories and those that makes you conquer the whole region (so you start in that kingdom with the right types from the beginning). What do you think? Also, was thinking about the mono normal, to conquer Ghost you LITERALLY only have rufflett and braviary xD

I think the ”doing stories of warlords of a specific type” makes sense, but it would limit the amount of types that can be done, since not all warlords have a ”conquer ransei” story. I think in future runs, I’ll simply only use eevee until I get access to the correct warriors. I just have to overlevel him enough whilst still remaining below the strength cap. Also, you’d have a Staraptor too, so I think it would be doable!

If you are planning to play games not main series I would like something like fan games. I’ll be honest this conquest i wasn’t so interested in with how it is, but would enjoy something like Pokémon Xeonverse,uranium, insurgence, fire red, emerald Kaizo,I can go on. It be different a bit and still interesting. Though it’s your channel so still do whatever you want and whatever YOU enjoy doing. Keep up the good work though. Enjoyed the other videos.

Thanks for the feedback! Right now I just wanna do what I feel like doing, I think that’s the most sustainable approach to doing something like this. I’ll certainly experiment with different games and branch out a bit in the future. Who knows what I feel like doing next, perhaps I’ll torture myself with some Kaizo at some point:)

I think the actual correct term would be permadeath conquest fire type based on its gameplay loop; but still, nuzlocke gets the message across so no complains here.

Haha I guess yeah, didn't think of that. I just went in with the mindset to apply nuzlocke rules to conquest as well as possible so it never occurred to me heh

Didn't even think this game could be a nuzlocke. I agree though Pokémon Conquest needs more recognition and I wish there was a sequel or remake on the Switch.

6:24 did you use codes? Chimchar can't be recruited until post game. Also, I was wondering how you are going to get past flash fire pokemons but seems like they don't have any for the warlord fights.

You should do Pokémon platinum but only either poison types or only the first 6 Pokémon you find including your starter (also I think dupes clase should also be in affect or it could be not as good) but either way I think that would be cool hardcore nuzlock

My ranking for easiest to hardest Pokemon to Nuzlocke this game with Dragon Dark Steel Flying Bug Rock Grass Ice Water Fire Normal Ground Fighting Ghost Psychic Poison Electric This is mainly based on both how many weaknesses each typing has and how many things resist/are immune to their moves (and if they have any sort of counter play to get around that).

Never thought of a mono type nuzlocke of conquest, I'm intrigued. After I'll 100% it I will try it (but water because I love vaporeon xD) What do you think, instead of "Pokémon that can become that type" (just for Eevee basically) to add "warlords that have that preferred type" (so if someone starts with a grass type but his 100% link is a fire Pokémon, you can use him but only with that Pokémon until you get his 100% one )if he faints you can either make him leave or make him wait forever until you find his link) P.s. Damn the luck with all those miss 🤣

@@Twig387 I'm trying to think of what would be be hardest type to use, based on the Pokémon/attacks 🤔 Psychic has low melee attacks (I think only psycho cut?), Normal/Flying lacks aoe/ranged etc But some types I guess need sidestories since you won't get them till the end of a normal playthrough Fire and normal are the earlier to access with water and grass, nobunaga's army has the hardest to get obviously (dragon I wlthino will be the easiest/fastest nuzlocke, we need to try with nobunaga's side story xD)

I am genuinly confused. Vs the Rock Type pokemon on the boulder stage u were using an infernape. But later on ur monferno(?) Died? How is that possible? I am so fricking confused xD Otherwise good Video. But that monferno infernape thing just isnt something i can get over xD where has the infernape from the boulder map gone? xD

I used Takatora’s infernape in the rock battle, and then a different warrior’s (Kenshin) Monferno in other battles to stay below the strength cap! I had several duplicates, which was allowed as long as they weren’t in the same castle

@@slashersoul2380 Since one Monferno died, I didn’t allow myself to use any other Chimchar/Monferno/Infernape. Sort of like how dupes clause works in a normal nuzlocke haha
