The AI is meant to be absolutely ruthless with impossibly powerful Pokemon. Even with perfect competitive Pokemon, you have practically no goddamn chance in frigging hell of winning unless you get extremely haxxxxy and lucky. Even in Gen III, the AI was horribly overpowered, and I think it's only gotten even harder since then.

I should have just been happy with the silver symbols but nooooo I just had to beat the pike's gold round. Now a combination of competitive motivation and OCD for my frontier pass are causing me to rail against the facilities for gold. After managing to beat the Dome and Pyramid, I have tried and lost so many times at the Battle Palace that I was able to buy a Charizard doll... ;_;

+SolidLies07 not really.....i always HATED the battle frontier.mainly because i could NEVER make it to the damn brain.the rules on MOST of the battle facility's were fucking INSANE......the battle chattlin on the other hand is cool.the rules aren't as redundant,its just straight up battles with no kind of strings attached.AND!i've actually managed to get to the end brains(chatlins,in this game)this time!on ALL regular divisions! and on super singles i made it all the way to 37 wins!with no kind of online help!and SOMEDAY am gonna go for at least a 50 win streak.i won't lie,the super divisions don't clown around......but at least its far more then what i EVER managed on the frontier.does ANYBODY here remember the one where you had to let the fucking pokemon decide which move to use??AAARRRG!THE FRONTIER WAS JUST BULL SHIT!AND EVEN WITH THE ONES WHERE YOU COULD CHOOSE I ALWAYS GOT MY ASS HANDED TO ME BEFORE I COULD EVEN MAKE IT TO ONE SINGLE BRAIN!FUCK YOU BATTLE FRONTIER!FFFFFUUUUUUCCCCCCCKK YOOOOOOUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!

If we are gonna have a Sinnoh remake, then that means we are gonna get whooped by the most difficult generation by far. So if you raged in Hoenn, prepare to get absolutely annihilated by Cynthia's Garchomp... which is probably Mega... and there's probably gonna be a pokemon with z-moves in there... and probably a pokemon with some crazy new feature that they are going to add. We are f****d.

Pokélords i say bring it on.... i LOVED gen 4. well besides the battle frontier anyways.... by the way. to anyone that read my other comment since last time i posted >update< i FINALLY got 50 win streaks at the battle maison in omega ruby! ^-^ it was relentless..... but i was FINALLY able to pull it off. but now i've moved up to moon and the goal there is 50 consecutive wins at the battle tree..... its even MORE relentless than what the battle Maison ever was! AND the npc's there cheat WAY worse too!! i only made it to 43(if memory serves)..... currently waiting to be able to transfer my old team so that i can dominate here too........ lel, STILL not missing the battle frontier.

Agree, defeating all of the frontier brains until I get all of the gold badges from them is the most difficult passage in the entire Pokemon series (in my opinion). This song is so menacing.

Nope! There’s no battle facility in gen 9. At least with the second DLC, we have a huge amount of music options for online battles. A silver lining, I suppose

UaruGaming I doubt that they'd release the battle frontier in the remakes. This is the remakes of the original two games, not their sequel Emerald.

XxShadowGiratinaxX well heartgold and soulsilver followed crystal's storyline mre so than gold and silver and they included the battle frontier so don't count it out just yet.
