I distinctly remember being blown away, thinking the wireless adapter would actually make holograms of your pokemon come out and battle on the street.

Can you blame them? The original 151 Pokemon are considered the most recognizable. Besides, the big reason they even made FireRed and LeafGreen at the time was because of the fact that the original Red, Blue and Yellow were not compatible with Ruby and Sapphire, due to the massive overhaul of the battle system, which took the Pokemon's natures and abilities into account.

I swear when I was a child I thought the wireless adapter allowed you to play wirelessly with other people in the kanto region like todays Pokémon games 😂 running around in their game etc

My mom paid $100 for a Game Boy Advance SP Blue Pearl at the Best Buy when I was 14 in 2006.

I play Pokemon fire red and I would love to play it again for old-time sakes and capture so many Pokemon inside the game legendary Pokemon in a whole lot more does all fair game in the Battle of this big 😉👍
