@@gianrazon2639 If you count the time period of legends it is around 246 years old, as the materiel ect. within legends points to it being around the Meiji period of japan (which the first four generations of Pokémon are based off of, the country not time period) which is when japan started seeing great advancements in technology this is mirrored in the game with how pokeballs are a new(ish) invention within the lore of legends along with any other semi-modern tech as well.
