Pokémon Let's GO Pikachu/Eevee Online in 2024... 

I know the Let's Go games were frowned upon, but I loved the art style.

My only real quarrel with this game is that they didn’t pull an oras and give the player access to the “new” evolutions. I would’ve loved going through Kanto with mons like kingdra, magnezone, sylveon, scizor, etc. this also would’ve meant access to more megas like mega scizor or steelix. Especially since there are canonically a few johto Pokémon in Kanto like Tyranitar, houndoom, and honchkrow. Other than that though I’m of the small group of people that liked the game, but I’m entertained by anything so it doesn’t matter much in the grand scheme of things.

Yes. I'm proud to announce that I still play Let's Go. Almost on a daily basis. Shiny hunting, master trainers and occasionally start a new file on a secondary user. And still loving them with all my heart.

I surprisingly managed to find my pokewalker, after it vanished 7 years ago, still works too, battery was dead though, had to swap it out

I played through Let's Go Pikachu again last year and I can honestly say it was such a fun experience from start to finish. I did get it when it originally came out but I just blazed through the story because I think both Smash Ultimate and Red Dead Redemption 2 came out right around the same time... But yeah when replaying it, I kept coming back to the fact that the Let's Go games portray Kanto in the most beautiful and vibrant way more than its ever been, almost as if it was the way the devs wanted Kanto to feel like on the GameBoy. I loved the way there were some trainers added to the game that originally weren't in Yellow (as I think this is meant to be a Yellow remake as opposed to a gen 1 remake). I even did a full pokedex run to get the shiny charm and while I'm not the biggest fan of the catching mechanic, it did make catching all 150 Pokemon easier. But at least for any future pokemon games, I have a consistent way to shiny-hunt and transfer any Kanto Pokemon I want (provided that theyre in the new game). Anyway, I had such a fun time re-playing it and I would genuinely recommend it to anyone that has yet to play it or didnt give it a chance on the first time around.

I still play Let's Go Pikachu daily for the daily gym rematches to slowly level up the multiple Mewtwo or other Pokemon I moved from Go. Only used online for trade evolutions back in the past to complete the missions in Home.

Loved the poke walker. I wondered what the pokeball plus was. I didn't get either let's go pikachu or eevee

this game is still the best source to get yourself a shiny 6-IV ditto

I played it with my son in coop, still fun and lovely to hunt shinies with him who adores it to get together our favorite shiny. I'm from the 90's so i love the first 150 pokemon and its scenery with the anime.

These are the best looking Pokémon games on switch and it isn’t close. Gamefreak just can’t pull off the breath of the wild look. They should go back to the more animated style of these games, it just fits better

Am actually still playing this game, I never actually completed the kanto region before so it’s been very fun for me! I bought it a while ago and just never played it, I think the way you catch, Pokémon is very refreshing from the normal games. Plus the Eve animations are so cute.

Have fond memories of this game, shiny hunting til ealry hours of the morning lol, enjoyed the different mechanics and whatnot, shame we'll probably never get another one since go's slowly dying off nowadays but still

Wow I remembered I used to play PLG and ELG back in the day

The poke-ball was meant to be a controller but with the concept of you to make it seem like your throwing an actual poke-ball from real life into the game which in other words its a controller

Picked it up for the first time in half a decade. Game is alot better than i remember and graphics really stand out as a win.

I stopped playing about a month ago because I just go let's go arceus, but I loved let's go eevee when I player it ( and I still think it's a nice game.) infact I bearly finished let's go eevee.

i had this game come with my nintendo switch and hadnt touched it in years then i finally played it and it was quite an enjoyable experience i really recommend this game

considering alpha sapphire and omega ruby on 3ds still has active player base i assume this game also still does to a degree till they decide to shut down online services.

Honestly when i play let's go, the online feature was hardly ever used to trade. I possibly battled once. I mostly send Pokemon exclusively from go to let's go and that's how i got my 153 that way. There were 2 special Pokemon from go that are exclusive to Go and Lets Go. And imo let's go Pikachu was the better game because to me, it represented the better modern version of Pokemon Yellow.

I still like to shiny hunt in letsgo eevee and I am nuzlocking it on a second profile but I never go online.

I play this from time to time to shiny hunt.

I try to play all of the ones I have, but I don't get nearly enough time on the switch to play the few pokemon titles that I have regularly. 😅

I often replay the story but admittedly I lost interest in the online. I only play Sword and Shield Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl along with Scarlet and Violet online now but that's it.

If you asked me, the let’s go games have been better than any of the other games they have released so far just the fact that the art style keeps getting worse. There’s way too many glitches and they just can’t seem to get anything right at this point, I would much rather have my Pokémon, following me then feel like I’m playing monster Hunter.

Lge was the 1st game i finished the dex since you techincly only need 1 game and switch

There just isnt any reason to play a game with only 151 Pokemon

lets go is the best game we've gotten since HGSS

I was trading with people in this game and they helped get all the trade evolutions an and version exclusive pokemon. Shows that only good people play these games.

Because I hate interacting with people in single player game so I've had to resort to a method I loath just to complete the dex... Pokemon go... God I hate it.

I still use the gts in the Gen 6 games and offer up legitimate pokemon for version exclusives, etc. I get a trade pretty quick too! As long as you deposit a reasonable pokemon you won't get a hacked one!

The only good thing about let’s go games is the graphics and details 10/10 for that but for gameplay I give it a 5/10 if only they make remakes like this but without the let’s go features
