It's funny cuz prior to the Gym Challenge video of the JMC, John had never acknowledged Grunty Boi, as far as I can tell, but after that video, he's interacted with him and mentioned him a few times.

The video in general is fun and enjoyable, but watching you guys communicate boundaries and resolve minor conflicts like healthy adults is just great content, lol. Hopefully the kids are watching!
When Dr. Fuse was spoiled via shirt/lab coat pic I legit thought he was going to be a paleontologist and we were going to get a series of fossil run pokemon games. It would give you an excuse to try to replicate some of those Dinosaur acoustic sounds John (and the rest of us) would commit to views for!

Hearing the “what if you were a dinosaur” bit, made me think of Zac Oyama doing “a dinosaur speaks its first English” and just howling “Hiiiiiiiiiii.” I would be completely content with Mikey doing a playthrough as a dinosaur slowly figuring out controls and speech haha
Starting in Gen 6, Keen Eye actually does have one advantage over Clear Body, because it also ignores enemy evasiveness boosts. It also had the same out-of-battle effect as Intimidate, but that was removed with Gen 8.
when i heard john putt my name on his leavanny i thought bc that's what mike put on it and BTW that was a complete acident didn't mean for that to happen and what's the chances that it happens on the same pokemon of all things lol i didn't know what i put for my nickname so i resumit it and i let them know that i did that wasn't expecting that
The moment I saw Jirachi in the thumbnail I thought "oh no how bad is John gonna struggle against this...." I'm so glad that he caught it as a wild encounter instead though :3
VOLT ABSORB RAIKOU? I may have an explanation.... like Chandelure with shadow tag it was an unreleased hidden ability, I remember this! suicune had water absorb and entei had flash fire IIRC, raikou had volt absorb obviously Edit. It was like this from gens 5-7. Gen 8 and onwards it has been inner focus
