as a kid i was terrible at this game i ended up throwing it out the car window on the way to a family holiday, i liked pokemon so much as a kid but learnt i hate pinball then lol
This takes me back to when I played this on my Game Boy when I was 4. The memories... Oh, and four year old me had a bad grip in the bathroom. I ended up dropping the game boy into the toilet.
I'm surprised that Nintendo hasn't brought this to 3DS eShop yet. This game would fit to that purpose perfectly and used to be one of my favourite GBC games. Easy to access but has surprisingly lot content for a pinball game
It took me awhile, but I reached and defeated every boss on this list. Not gonna lie, though - the Gengar scared me much more than facing Mewtwo ever did.
He was the hardest! I remember beating all the bosses except for Gengar, my memory might be failing me though. I’m pretty sure I didn’t beat him. It was hard enough to get to the boss stages.
1990s' dedicated game fans should have realized, that the four-color sprites on backwards compatible Game Boy Color games still only use 3 colors and their 4th color is the background color...
I remember playing this game as a kid, and I even caught them all in this pinball game even the elusive Mew. Though with that one you just had to run out the clock when you saw it without dying. As for the bonus stages enjoyed those big time.
I remember hearing that one odd sound in sound test once and never knew what it was. After this video I now know it's Mewtwo's 'death sound'. Makes sense as I never reached let alone beat it.
honestly of all these the digglet stage is singlehandedly the hardest by the sole virtue that you only get a single try instead of being on a timer, meaning that if by chance the ball slips by your flippers you're kicked out immediately and need to trigger the stage again
I always said if they worked with either stern or bethesda soft works, one of the major peeps doing pinball right now, this could work. this and stadium were my spinoffs that I wanted to see make a return. with the new generations coming out now, the possibilities for more tables! this could be an adventure in itself. I’d love to see it come to switch.
i remember my grade school days back in 90s my dad bought me gameboy color clear purple and i told him to buy pokemon game, i forgot to be specific so he bought this game pokemon pinball, when what i really want was pokemon yellow/blue/red version. i didnt know that there was also this pokemon pinball that time
I have the next game to Boss Rush: Custom Robo Arena for the DS. It's one of my favorites and I got stuck on the final boss. (I think it was the final boss)
This first installment in the _Pokémon Pinball_ duology has the most unique music, as opposed to _Pokémon Pinball: Ruby & Sapphire_ which recycles some of its soundtrack from _Pokémon Ruby Version_ & _Pokémon Sapphire Version._ The reused music is mostly unaltered there.
