This Song is actually so good. My Grandmother got me Pokemon Saphire for my 7th Birthday. I Played this game for hours and enjoyed every second of it. She passed away 3 days ago and with all the memories coming to my mind i also had to think about the game. This theme was my favorite and now every time i listen to it, i have a connection to my grandmother. Thank you so much ! I have tears in my eyes just writing this and i hope i can See her again 1 day😭❤

The nostalgia this induces actually brings me to tears. My parents bought me a gameboy advance, Kirby's Dreamland for GBC and Pokemon Sapphire when I was 7. I remember the feeling of surprise when they randomly handed me a plastic bag with these things in it; the smile on my dad's face when he knew he nailed it. He gave me friends when I had none. Even if imaginary, I had something to connect with, be excited for and believe in. I hatched so many eggs, collected all the pokemon, beat the Elite Four 107 times because I heard about a bogus glitch where you could get Lugia if you had 100+ clears with just Kyogre on your team. I knew it was bull... I didn't care though. At the time I was just so happy, so carefree. Things are so different now. My family is all split up, things are tense. I remember when my sister and I were close. When my parents still got along... When I still had something to believe in. I used to sit in Verdanturf town while I fell asleep listening to the soft melody, eased away from what little pain I had into bliss. Who knew that I could look back, wishing for nothing but a chance to see it all one last time. From the bottom of my heart, thank you... You've given me that chance. I love my family, or... What it was. I never wanted to lose that. To anyone that heard me out, thank you too. I haven't gotten to open up like this in a long time. Too hard these days.

What I like about your remixes is that you use them to bring out the best parts of specific songs whilst most other remixes just want to make a boppin' tune for people to dance to no matter the source material, it ain't always gotta be like that.

Listening to this really just helped me clear my head, I actually cried because of how beautiful this is. Gen 3 and Gen 4 pokemon games were my childhood and your pokemon remixes make for an intense feeling of nostalgia. Your music is awesome!! Been listening to this one for a while, it helps a lot while Im studying. Also your videos made me curious for other pokemon song remixes and one that I can’t find is Eterna City from Sinnoh. I know you probably have other work lined up, but it would be cool if you can work with Eterna City in the future!

Ah, Hoenn, the region I grew up with. So beautiful, with such nice people, willing to help you when you need help. I know I'm late, but thank you. When I was young, I don't remember how old, but it was when Ruby and Sapphire just came out. My brother got a copy, and I watched him play. I remember when I watched him beat the Champion, I yelled "Yay! Good job bubby! I'm proud of you!" A year later, when he finished the game, he gave me the Gameboy with the cartridge inside and said "Make your own save. I want you to play and have fun, too." Sometimes, when I can't sleep, I'll turn it on and plug it in, and stay in Verdanturf just to hear the music. It's my favorite theme from the whole game. It reminds me of how innocent I was. I still haven't beaten the E4. Still! This game opened my eyes to the wonders of Gaming, and Pokemon. It brings you to a whole new world. Thank you for making this remix, Qumu.
