That's why Emerald should have also gotten a remake. Because you face off against both teams at once, and it feels like both are in fact trying to achieve their goals. While Ruby and Sapphire just throw in that the other team exists and they do nothing, despite having their own goals.

@@justinalicea1590 Exactly. The 3rd entry of a generation is usually much superior. As for Gen 3 you get both legendaries clashing which is even scarier plus both Teams are actual threats and you have to fight both at the same time. As for Gen 4 its very similar as in both legendaries are now threatening the world and the 3rd one of the trio saves the day

Its not hard to see why. He's a smug, arrogant smart-ass , but unlike other Pokemon villains he genuinely wanted what was best for humanity. Not to mention that unlike other Team leaders who used their grunts and admins as pawns, Maxie actually supports them and cares about them. Same thing with Archie (though Archie is the friendlier of the two). I honestly adore Maxie and Archie. They're the only Pokemon villains who are actually good people at heart.
