2:02 I just noticed Marnie gets uncomfortable because she isn’t quite sure what to do or say at the moment but braves through it with a pat on the back, it’s adorable and I love it
I have to say, I absolutely love the physicality involved in these animations and how they play into the humor. The small touches like accidentally slamming a butcher's knife into a cutting board, small sideways glances, and occasional moments that distract from the task at hand make quite a difference. Sometimes it's the little things.
God, whoever animated this is the greatest. Everything about this got me. The mundane task and the realism of chopping veggies paired with the absurdity of potato GLaDOS, Marnie teasing her Morpeko while being absolutely adorable, Eevie chilling, Gloria yeeting the squirrel, the pudding gag in the end.... you rock, man
@@martianman08 You know... in an alternate Timeline, where GF never slacked off and became delusional and fanbase-distant, this would surely be just in the game instead of the Curry-Mechanic itself. It would just be a long but skipable Cutscene. 'Pokemon' is so many years behind the time (for the record, its 2021, ya know), that its a Shame.
@@loturzelrestaurant Don't know the chances of you responding to me since this comment is 2 weeks old, but just thought I would go ahead and say a fun fact. The engine Game Freak uses was made for the Nintendo 3DS, which is why Sword and Shield has been so choppy regarding certain scenes. They're being like Bethesda and trying to use a game engine they are very much used to yes, but it's so outdated that it would be better to use a newer engine than to stick with the old one. Just in case you didn't know, and to make you even more disappointed in Game Freak.
You know what, as amazing as this is, I think I appreciate the realism of stuff like the butter sticking to the knife or having to actually try to empty the can the most. That's some attention to detail.
@@marquaygeorge9312 I just express yeet meme. (make word named yeet) yeet, what's the yeet? YEET! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tp3sWVBNz30.html
It is a rule when making any large meal, especially stews like goulash, that you must begin the hours long process with some knife tricks with the biggest knife you can find to assert dominance.
My thing is grabbing a sharp knife, holding it out in front of me and saying "At last, my arm is complete again!" like Sweeney Todd with a barber razor before getting on with it.
Man when Gloria threw the Skwovet into the stratosphere, that was so satisfying. I usually don't hate a Pokémon but good lord, I'd be a happy trainer if Skwovet went extinct. I hate that thing and it's evolution so much
Me seeing alcremie on plate and give a strawberry: Ohhh that's cute Put a fork beside her: Ok that got dark fast Saw the very end of the video where they eat strawberry with alcremie: Not gonna lie they go me in the first half
I love when anything does that, I know this is a bit off topic but that's why the older Lego games were the best because they had to use jesters and funny little bits as their own words.
Isn't it sad how this has so much more animation and express on how the characters are than the actual game? This should had been what the in game cooking is like. Awesome animation, dude.
@Hyper Helios Pokemon is the richest thing. It have many animtors but it still too lazy to make something. One human made this, then why horde of animators can't?
@Hyper Helios Imagine if they would add the possibility to chose a bad path . Nothing big like in undertale but new dialog and character behavior( badpath : your rival actually tries to stop you because he doesn’t like your choices or vice versa and you get best friends)
I would love for there to be an official show like this, that touches on the more everyday life side of the Pokémon world, just seeing how the average person goes about their day
I love how they're realistically cooking curry (which is actually a process that has many more steps than the minigame in SwSh), complete with ingredient preparation and requiring multiple people to cook that much curry in a reasonable amount of time.
