Pokémon Stadium 1 ~ Tool-Assisted Speedrun for demonstration reasons.
I got this crazy idea to make this video when i watched other Pokémon Stadium videos around RU-vid. It's not something special but might be interessting for some people. Sorry in the case you don't like it.
This should be the only 4 languages of Pokémon Stadium where Clefairy sings in a different voice, the Spanish and Italian version uses the English Pokémon names and the minigame there doesn't sound different compared to the American version, so i didn't see a reason to add them up, but it's pretty unfortunate that they didn't sound different it would be so much cooler with more langauges.
I've to say French sounds pretty neat.

In my opinion, French is the best, followed by English. Then comes German, because at least they do it rhythmically, and finally Japanese, because that one just irks me as a rhythmically inclined person.

This is a rare time when Japan has the worst voice acting in something. I mean even the German Clefairies sound better and they even have the same name (Pippi).

***** It help that is french name it's based on musical reference (In fact, Clefairy start by "clef" another french musical note!). We love do that: In Pokémon Black and White, Opelucid City is known for having two completely different appearances depending on the version: in Black, it's futuristic and is said to be "a city of rapid change"; in White it's steeped in the past and honors history and traditions. Probably the best name one could give this city in reference to these two aspects is its French name: Janusia. Janus being the Roman god of beginnings and transitions, usually depicted with two faces: one facing the past, the other facing the future. Inchanted Pawk That's funny because the "Mélo" on "Mélo/Melofée/Mélodelfe" (the French name of Cleffa/Clefairy/Clefable respectively) is from "mélopée", which means "chant" in French.

This was pretty cool, crazy watching the inputs light up in like 12 frames haha. The voice seems to have no rhythm in Japanese... but French was pretty cool! Also is your avatar Sabrina the Teenage Witch now? its been so long since i saw that cartoon on tv xD

Sato The Japanese version sounds pretty silly imo, i don't know if the Japanese really like their own version of it. Yes you are right it's "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" and i still love this cartoon, i recently bought season 1 and 2 of it on DVD. But i like witches a lot. =)

that's because in Japanese there not actually saying their names but random grunts like they do in Stadium mode, for the international releases they were dubbed presumably by either 4Kids or whoever were in charge of the dubbing rights for the anime in that country.

It makes me realize that most of the French Nintendo games prior to early 2010 doesn't have a space between the last text and the exclamation point, which is a punctuation mistake in the French language (same for "?" ":" ";" and some special signs : "eg" "%").

I'm actually gonna say that the French one is too soft. I liked how they went with the rhythm, but the voice itself is too soft for even something as cute as a Fairy. It just doesn't sound like a Pokemon to my ears. The Japanese one sounds more like a Pokemon's game cry, too.
