I like to imagine that the piano at the beginning is being played furiously by her Garchomp.

They are bringing garchomp in with the dlc, let's hope he brings a friend with him.

When the piano started, I imagined Cynthia walking towards the center where the Trainer was, the stadium deadly silent and her high heels clacking with the floor being the only thing that one could hear.

Me: trying to beat the Elite Leaders. Cynthia: *shows up* Me: New plan. Run as fast as you can. EDIT: Time to meet my destiny, We will meet each other soon Cynthia once you arive on the Switch.

Fun Fact: In every Pokémon game Cynthia’s appeared in, Game Freak has used the EXACT SAME MIDI FILE. As a testament to her strength, they have never updated it with an arrangement like with the other Champions and recurring Trainers.

0:00 lights go out A few seconds of silence. The theme starts playing All spotlights shine onto a figure entering the stadium. The figure reveals to be no other than the feared champion of Sinnoh, holding a rose in her hand. She tosses the rose into the air and petals rain down on her and the fans scream and cheer! Leon: I’m glad you made it! Cynthia: that’s right, it’d be rude to keep the fans waiting, as well as missing the opportunity to prove who’s the best in the world. Leon: Even if you’re a champion as well, doesn’t mean I’ll go easy on you! *Takes off cape*

This does justice to both themes, and goes above and beyond in quality.

I’m glad the Diamond and Pearl remakes are finally happening, but I deleted my previous comment because the replies I’m getting are people actually wanting me to have a heart attack. Some people just wanna watch the world burn. The same way Cynthia will burn all our full restores and revives once again.

I will cry tears of joy if Diamond and Pearl remakes are announced. I’ll cry tears of suffering when I realize I’ll have to face a Gigantamax Garchomp.

I hope you had a Champion time!" *suddenly this starts to play over the stadium speakers, and a voice speaks out* "One region Champion to another, I want to take you on." *Everyone in the stadium cranes their necks over to see as Cynthia strolls out onto the field, with a cocky smirk on her face. Leon smiles, and nods* "Fine by me. The Galar Champion vs the Sinnoh Champion, huh. Sounds like a real great show match. Let's do this."

Imagine you're facing Cynthia in the remake and when she sends out her last pokemon, Gigantamax Garchomp, you hear 1:35

Oh God this is great! And it perfectly paints a scene in my head 0:00 You just finished completing the League Tournament and your about to claim your prize when suddenly you hear a pian play a certain tune. You look over and see Cynthia walking over to you calm yet confidently. She introduces herself and the crowd roars knowing what comes next. 1:36 The audiance roars with excitment as you both send out your first Pokemon and it seems that you two are an even match. 2:24 You start to get the upper hand and the crowd starts cheering for you. They are cheering your song, The song they've been cheering for you since your first gym match. Normally it fills you with confidence and reassurance. With the knowlage victory is at hand. But not this time. 3:00 She's down to her last Pokemon her signature Garchop. She's cornered, but do you think she's phazed? No she smiles confidently and Gigamaxs it. It starts to solo the rest of your team and the crowd slowly stops cheering your song. shocked that you, their champ could lose. 4:10 The battle was explosive you managed to survive Gigamaxed Garchop. Both Pokemon were down to just a sliver of HP but Garchop managed to get the last hit in. And just like that she won and that piano starts to play again and the feeling of shock and defeat fills you as the chrowd cheers the name Cynthia.

Can't wait for Cynthia to be a hidden encounter in Pokémon Gun :p What a great theme

The picture you chose of Cynthia looking at us, while the crowd cheers for her during the music (amazing detail btw), is honestly going to haunt my nightmares

Man, I really hope they incorporate these stadium battles in the gen 4 remakes too. Having grown up with gen 4, I thought I wanted the remakes to be almost as true to the originals as possible. However, now, having experienced the truly epic stadium battles of SwSh, I really can't see myself going back to those simple gyms/leagues ever again. The league system of galar is just in a class of its own. This remix perfectly captures what I envision for that type of battle with Cynthia, and I would honestly love to see this type of remix for the gym leaders, elite 4, and frontier brains too! (Let's hope to goodness they'll give us our battle frontier back this time though!)

Cynthia would be amazing to see in the sword and shield expansion pass, she’ll probably be the last trainer to fight as always

This Is Perfect It captures the dread cynthia caused all those years ago in gen 4 and updates it to match the great job gamefreak did with the atmosphere for gym battles. Crowd noises are incredible, amazing job

The way you set this up gives off huge Wrestlemania vibes to me. Like it perfectly hypes up an epic battle. I can picture the stadium being completely dark except two spotlights shining on the Pianist and Violinist as they play Cynthia's intro. Then BAM! Her theme kicks in, the arena lights up and Cynthia's there, ready to battle.

Cynthia: so who's this poser claiming to be the strongest champion? Leon bowing: forgive me my queen for i have sined !!!!!!

SHE HAS STILL SCARRED ME FROM POKEMON BLACK AND WHITE!

That's some Final Fantasy final boss theme right here. And it's totally accurate for someone like Cynthian, God damn her.

Imagine for the next game event you get to battle all the champions of past games in a row, no breaks to save you from the merciless onslaught

This unconsciously fills me with both excitement and dread. I think Garchomp is bsing added, so we may very well see Cynthia. I would like to hear Steven's theme in this style.

Here we are, with the only and great Champion that not only sent me but several others to waste their high numbers of Full Restores and Revives... Le Great Champion on who great part of us fear... The Champion who basically has a good coverage team and can more than enough, kick your ass a lot of times. Here we have, Cynthia and her ever present Garchomp, companied by her annoying Lucario, bulky Milotic, that Spiritomb that made me want to throw my DS out of the Window with rage and her other hard to defeat pokemons(Let's not even mention her D/P team... She is harder...)

All i have to say and many will agree if this happens will be as follows.... "oh no.....not again....NOT AGAIN!!!"

I remember in pokemon white I was traveling around talking to all the npc’s not knowing that once you talk to Cynthia a battle is engaged and oh boy

I'm happy to see that Cynthia, as being the 1st female Champion in the Pokemon franchise, is also universally recognized as one of the toughest after all this time! And her theme song is also at the measure of the challenge she represents: you're never ready enough for this the 1st time. Even the 2nd or the 3rd by the way xD

If I see her in the expansion I am going into a state of panic and turn into a lunatic solely because of that Lucario swept my team

Holy shit the change of pace in min 2 was fuckign insane. I love cynthia as champ and the music is the best one of all champ themes or battle themes in general. To update that to sound more like a real music track and not just somebackground music is so awsome. I want this so bad in the extensions. That you can maybe invite her to a Championship run and that some of the older ones can get back in aswell like in b2 and w2 would be so much fun.

the 208 souls in spiritomb were all apparently skilled musicians because she always sends that thing out first when the battle starts. Spiritomb appearing first causes trauma so naturally the composed song that the human souls made accompanied it.
