I really want a fairy type run because fairy is my favorite type and i prefer hatterene over grimsnarl because i prefer special attackers so i love when hatterene gets blessed because it gets a good nature and grimsnarl gets skrewd by a bad nature

I love this idea

My first playthrough of shield was a mostly all ice team with the exception of Greedent who was my Starter and a Driftbloom later on. Gen 8 is great for doing mono type teams since so many pokemon are available early.

I recently re-started playing Shield for the first time in a good while and I forgot how much fun it is, and how much the Quality of Life stuff really helps the experience be less "slow" compared to the earlier games. Most of the shortcomings and plot related are visual but eh, I'm having fun.

Agreed! Thats why i think hes very underrated! A lot of people who do these challenges dont narrate it too well.

He's right up there among the very best in terms of narration, but it's not just his narration that is impressive, he's also an excellent nuzlocker. The number of subs his channel has gotten in such a short amount of time and with just 6 videos is testament to the quality content he creates.

Why? Grass type is at an inherent disadvantage being weak to or resisted by at least 1 of the gym leaders Pokemon in ALL 8 GYMS, it’s weak to Viola’s team, Grant’s Amaura, Korrina’s Hawlucha, Ramos’s Weepinbell and Jumpluff, Clemont’s Emolga, Olympia’s Sigyliph and Wulfric’s entire team. Grass is resisted by Viola’s team (again), Korrina’s Hawlucha (again), Ramos’s team, Clemont’s Emolga and Magneton, Valerie’s Mawile, Olympia’s Sigyliph (again), And Wulfric’s Abomasnow. Along with being weak to everything on Drasna’s team except for Druddigon (which resists it) being weak to Flannery’s whole team, Resisted by Wikstrom’s whole team except for Probopass, and weak to his Scizor, it’s also weak to Diantha’s Hawlucha, and Aurora, and resisted by her Goodra, and her Gourgeist. It’s super effective against nothing until Olympia’s Slowking, and is strong against Siebold’s whole team, except for Gyarados, which it’s neutral against. Everything else is neutral. Grass type sucks in XY, that’s one of the reasons people don’t use Chespin, it’s not strong enough to counter the overpowering weakness of the Grass type. Oh yeah, and the only grass type that can learn surf, is only available by using surf, or by getting to a point in the game that surf was required to reach, so, unless you waste a slot with an HM slave, the game becomes impossible. Regardless, my point is proven, using grass types is a bad choice for the game that makes it impossible to beat the game with only ever having grass types.

Most Nuzlockers use Drapion if able bc its OP as fuck i personally ban it in my runs

X/Y is not seen because of how easy it is and most people do nuzlockes on ultra sun/moon instead of regular since at least ultra is a challenge.

what makes you say that? the name derives from stone and sojourner. i don’t watch the anime, so if that’s how it’s pronounced in the show then i guess that’s that, but it doesn’t make sense for it to be pronounced anything like “stone yerner”
