This video shows the secret ending including the full Galarian Star Tournament in Pokémon Sword & Shield Crown Tundra DLC for Nintendo Switch. ►No Commentary Gameplay by ProsafiaGaming (2020)◄
U get to team with Marnie and so many other people this is in my opinion the greatest Pokémon game aAnd DLC ever yeah u don’t here that much in the newer gens
marnie: fighting types make a pretty rough matchup for me, can i just leave' em to you? morpeko: *proceeds to avoid the high jump kick, one-hit kills hawlucha and finishes off shuckle*
All these leaders have got guts to be able to calmly and confidently say they'll win against a team, one of which has captured the pokemon that nearly caused total destruction of the region twice, one of the two pokemon able to defeat said region-destroying pokemon, two pokemon gifted to them by the former champion, and also possibly an indefinite amount of legendaries from other regions both because they're now chief explorer in the crown tundra and because they have access to a box that can warp in pokemon from other timelines.
@@RandalfElVikingo You need it though for both of the horses and the regielek and regidrago since you can’t get both in one game so it would be impossible to even do it without Pokémon Home but if you’re excluding those then it’s pretty easy to complete due to the fact that a lot of Pokémon in this Dex are actually from the main game.
@@point8195 well.... you can actually use the switch features of different accounts... to create a new game.... and you can just... select the other horse/regi.. go to the poke bank.. put them on a box.. then change to your main account and put them on the game
This extra scene, the one with Marnie's smile in the hotel and the way in which the protagonist responds to Marnie when she cheers you up, prove that the protagonist and Marnie like each other.
I know in-game, Piers and Raihan is hands down the easiest since you literally just need a Fairy type with some coverage(coughcough Mr.Rime), but in lore that is a genuinely terrifying combination. The trainer right below Leon(and technically you) in power, and the trainer who can take on any Gym Leader without Dynamax
Pierre is a fucking badass for almost beating Raihan without dynamax, if he did use it he would've probably won, so yeah you're normally fighting two characters who are basically champion level, that's fucking terrifying lore wise
So far we only have 8 remaining i believe, the 10 in base with version exclusives, then 12 with klara and avery. Also, peony is steel type formerly (and mustard overlaps fighting with bea
Is that so? Well, fortunately... I caught a Pokemon with the level that can't compare. Only downside it takes a while for it's stats to return to what it should be
@@samziegelman1835 not just fake out+first impression. Morpeko gets trashed on in every galarian star tournament ive tried lmao. Every single time, morpeko is knocked out in a turn or two
@@oseanman5833 exactly. I've actually paired up with marnie more than anyone else solely to try have morpeko survive for more than 2 turns. I've tried sweeping the enemy, protecting, all that jazz, and haven't gotten anything to works yet. I have no life lmao
Done and done. I chose Hop as my partner and my final tag team match was against Raihan and Leon. These guys weren't just in a park, nor were they cream puffs, either.
Sun and Moon had some returning trainers, B2W2 had them *ALL* It’d also be cool if the version exclusive gym leaders/rivals showed up in the star tournament, they just wouldn’t have had any of the cool dialogue and shit. It is what it is though.
When i read, "pick a partner" I IMMEDIATELY picked Marnie. Did it in my Expedition gear(not gold, but my backpack was). Marnie's Morpeko was a massive boon. Aura Wheeled constantly into them.
Ah, yes... "The greatest challenge yet": A Tournament where you can overpower your opponent by being overleveled. The Crown Tundra was so good, they had to compensate.
I mean, to be fair, it *IS* the hardest challenge in the game. You are forced to do multi-battles against people who have like lv70-lv80 pokemon, so it is the toughest challenge yet. Ya, you can just sweep it with lv100 pokemon, but i mean, any pokemon game can be summed up like that. If you want the star tournament to actually be a challenge, then just use pokemon that are in the mid lv70's or so.
I chose Marnie at first, but after speaking to Hop before the registration I felt so bad... Marnie has a backup to who she'd pick (Piers), but Hop is just *completely* relying on you, and he feels so sad when he hears you have a partner already. I felt so guilty... I had to go back via soft reset and give Hop a chance. At least Marnie understands.
@@EnriqueLaberintico it really is. It just hurts seeing him like that because he was so eager to team with the player that by the time he has the chance, everyone else is taken, and when you’re taken as well he’s dealt the short end of the stick. Hop is just so wholesome if I’m being honest.
I went in with all level 100's as well tbh specifically Giratina Dialga Kyurem Groudon my starter Cinderace and my starter Incineroar that I got transferred from Pokemon Sun
@@melted2962 y’all are just cheating at this point, using starters and legends. I beat the entire post-game + DLC with just a Meowstic. ya don’t need no fancy team just use the move that hurts it
When the other gym leaders said no I ended up assuming the game was going for force me to use Hop each time. Our last match was against Leon and Raihan with our last Pokémon being Zacian and Zamazenta. It felt oddly appropriate as we won with the doggo brothers to beat the two.
I love that I choose Rillaboom as my starter. It really makes it look as If it came out of its pokeball to give the concert. The team for my playthroug also included Obstagoon and Toxtricity (low key) so the concert scene is specially cool.
Haha....I just did this one today on my own. I paired up with Hop and he honestly is a million times better when he has Zacian. He still just HAS to lead with Dubwool though...ah well. I wish I could’ve paired up with Peony because I saw him in the bracket and he might be my favorite character in game now.
I did the star tournament myself too shortly after crown tundra was released, the day after I think it was. And I too paired up with Hop, but he kept targeting Allisters ghost types with his Dubwools normal type attacks 🤦♀️ Propably gonna choose someone else next time I go there, not that I need the help, it's easy enough to win even all on your own, but it was really annoying. I kept thinking ironically "that's some fantastic ai aint it?..." 🤦♀️
I have 16 pokemon at level 100. Sword team, armor team, and crown tundra team. I had different pokemon for each part. I always kept my starter. 3 x 6 = 18. 18-2=16, because I always kept my starter.
Well i used my hidden ability , level 100, EV(attack and speed) trained and with 5 perfect IVs and one boosted to perfect) with a nature that boost attack and made special attack less Cinderace. You can probably guess how that end. I had breed it while hunting for a shiny Scorbunny and with 5 Perfect IVs and one bosted up with a bootle cap sadly the Shiny i got had the wrong ability.
She totally does guaranteed like it’s happened before in previous Pokémon games *looks at SM and USUM* ok not many probably but still it has happened which I mean I can’t blame her he is the hero of Galar and and is the Sword/Shield hero which I totally didn’t just reference the rising shield hero anime
@Thx I hate it I’m actually glad they didn’t include Cynthia because it makes it more likely that sinnoh remakes are next, like they’re “saving up” for her main appearance, so to speak. I would be weird if we battled her in swsh and then immediately in the next game battle her again, like it doesn’t make it as..l anticipating if that makes sense?
Had to pick Marnie. Hop was in the first part of the dlc, so it only felt right to let her have a moment too. Also, that little look/smile between them at the end was pretty cute.
I like how the trainer doesn't get to change outfits and just stays in the crown tundra outfit the whole time. Like cmon, you're the champion now, atleast make yourself look snazzy-
DLC in this format with every single gym leader, elite four and rival from the past generations please, would love to see all the interactions between gym leaders and characters in a game
