Dynamax is a 3 turn mega Evolution in which every move you use is a z move. you can't switch out during it, and the extra effects of moves are removed. this allows any and every Pokemon to have a competitive threat, if you would like.

It would be a cool idea if Leon was actually the evil team leader of this region. Oh, someone pointed out on the Serebii forums that the names could be from "Za-" + "cyan" (cian) and "magenta" (mazenta) respectively. Which would make the 3rd one "Za-" + "yellow" (change a letter in "yellow").

Love the Legendaries, those new mons they showed are good too, the Wild Area being the compromise for people who liked roaming pokemon is really nice (also Camera controls yay), and the raids are sure an interesting addition. I don't know about dynamaxing yet, we'll see. I didn't like Z moves much anyway, so I'm kinda glad those aren't in. Also, definitely picking Scorbunny, but I knew that ever since the reveal.

I feel they could have made the Sword Legendaries sword be floating rather than in its mouth, thereby implying it to be part psychic, put that up against the shield legendary being steel and you could make’em fighting/psychic and fighting/steel.

I feel as if the reason they haven’t done Mega Evolutions is because they’re trying to maybe stay consistent with their storylines, Mega Evolution in a sense was JUST discovered in the Kalos region and just barely made its way to the Hoenn, if this game is based off Scotland-An entirely different area in terms of the world globe-then we’re in a sense getting a look into that countries features and “special” dynamics/power ups they’ve discovered compared to Z-Moves in the Alolan region or Mega Evolutions in Kalos, we’ll be certain when the next generation drops and they possibly add yet another new feature for whichever country they may base gen 9 off of. Apologize for the run on sentence and this is just my take on this new feature they’ve implemented into the main games. 😁
