Allister is a shy guy and I just LOVE how his pokemon are extremely protective of him. Like every time Tommy would abruptly move? They would get on guard in a second. Love this

Tommy was upset because he found out he was gonna die and took out his pain on his friend. That is also why he starts off in the cemetery and seems to teleport out the room in the end.

Allister, known for being shy, is the first one to speak to the taxi driver? When Tommy enters the hospital room he doesn't make a noise, but the security guard clearly makes a noise when he opens the door. Lampent is also chilling outside the hospital. RIP Tommy.

This is exactly how I expected Allister's voice to sound. (Still wished he had a British accent.) Also, I was kinda hoping this episode would focus on Allister specifically like Bea and Nessa's episodes. Still fun to watch though.

There's a hidden Easter Egg at 5:54, you'll find a Lampent floating outside the hospital. One of its dex entries mentioned about the hospital. 🤔 Looking at the Twilight Wings episode, lot of people said that Tommy had died. This isn't the first time though. In Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, there's a side quest at night where a little girl and Drifloon were standing outside the Trainer School. In the end, the little girl was actually a spirit. It still was creepy that she had a Drifloon...

Yup Tommy is def dead He prob gave his heart to his friend after he passed on that’s why he’s able to see him. Also worth mentioning is the fact that the Ghost type gym leader’s Pokémon where surprised to see him get that better of them, maybe the taxi driver just sees a human and a random Ghost type Pokémon that’s why he refers to them as ‘those two’ and is surprised when he meets the OTHER ghost Pokémon. Mini theory: Allister waits in the graveyard because he’s hoping one day a certain ghost might show up. His Pokémon know he attracts lost souls so they protect him from any soul that he doesn’t want to be bothered by. I’m betting Allistair is hoping to see his mom and dad.

You know what would be priceless? If there was a blooper reel version of this somewhere, in which Allister only talks in Shy Guy noises. Lol!

I had this kind of discussion when I saw the Japanese one first and asked in the comments "Hey Tommy isn't dead is he? It seems suspicious" and some people answered that its common in Japanese media/cartoons to make things in a way so viewers can have their own little interpretations. So if you interpreted Tommy's dead, than he might be. Other kids probably didn't even notice, which is also a valid interpretation and doesn't change the story they saw.

"When or if we're ever getting out of this hospital" Yo did they just have a child acknowledge their own mortality on a kids short? I know the Pokedex talks about ghosts and souls, even possession but that's like death in paranormal fantasy worlds. It hits different when it's about a sick kid openly acknowledging that there's real chance that they're gonna die before they leave the hospital.

Some people say that Tommy is dead, it does make sense he talks to the ghost gym leader who CAN see ghosts, meets him at a graveyard, doesn't make a sound while going in, before the moon is full he is more ghost, when there is no cloud before the moon he is more human, Jon reacted sad when Tommy said they would do it together, he isn't with the other children in the next episode but Allister, and he would be a ghost because he still has something to do (apologies) (dead because the reason he was in the hospital (and he seems to think that he will die in the flashback: "There is no point")), the ghost Pokémon hanging out by the taxi come to take lost souls, Allister obviously doesn't want to talk but still says where they want to go instead of Tommy etc. The only things that contradicts it are Allister who shakes his hand (and you hear a sound) and that the taxi driver says:"What is keeping those two" (Which he could say about the Pokémon instead of the people) and "Are you BOTH okay?", but that could be because of the full moon.

For people saying that Tommy is dead pay attention to this line right here 6:11 “what where you doing at the hospital late at night, are you *both* ok?” If Tommy really was a ghost then how could the cab man see him?
