Raihan was probably an outsider cause he is not a native and his name really stands out from the others. He doesn't wear goggles in a sandstorm like a person who grew up in the middle east. And he's super amazed by Galar tapestries while a restaurant displays one piece of the tapestries like a rejected painting.

Glad we're still getting these animation series' with Pokemon Generations, Twilight Wings, and now, Evolutions.

So basically it went like this: Goodra used Surf on Aegislash, who escaped it and finished Goodra with either Iron Head or Close Combat, Goodra has low physical defense after all. Then Flygon pissed off Aegislash by sounding like a peacock, which was a diversion for Flygon to kill Aegislash with Earthquake. Dragapult then sent its babies after Flygon the peacock, killing it, but then Dragapult was killed by a Draco Meteor from most likely Duraludon, who Gmaxed. Leon then Gmaxed his Zard, and the two Gmax Mons come to blows, ending the episode. I think that's what happened.

Can we get that kinda animation for gen 8?

Leon is in it for the fun of the fights, the thrill of not knowing whether you can pull it off, and the games seem to imply what he really wants is someone who can challenge him for real again. It's not fun roflstomping all the time. He doesn't want to be Unbeatable Champion, he wants an actual rival. Being Unbeatable Champion sucks.

​@drascin absolutely this, and for reference, he's clearly 18 or older at this point and he CANONICALLY became Champion at TEN YEARS OLD, so how freaking long has he been doing this same old routine? A decade? Longer? It's honestly a spectrum how far you could take his character behind the scenes if you wanted to (I do, I'm doing a fic lol) but at the very least, there's definitely something to be said about a kid realising he's faking a smile. I think Opal summed it up best. When they first met, she said Leon was spectacular, but hard to read. Now that time has passed... "I can't tell if he wants to win or lose". Hard to really feel happy at success when you haven't felt the sting of losing, the triumph of overcoming that. He's so good that he's stagnant.

You can tell someone had a lot of fun animating it. I especially love the Dragapult scene. From the Dreepy hopping into the "missile pods", to 2 of them accidentally crashing into each other, got angry and _intentionally_ crashing into each other again.
