Thank goodness I jumped ahead and watched your crater gym run. Absolutely awful. Can’t take off the fast forward for even a second to get through these sections without 100 retries.
I was playing this game and found a building with trainers that battles you every time you want. So I thought "hey I can level up my pokemon here faster", so by the time I got to the 2nd Gym they were level 40-50. However the gym leader's was using pokemon level 50+, I just got demolished. My question is, did I messed up my run by leveling all the way to 50? Does the game adjust your opponent's level as you go? Or how does it work. At some point I think one of his pokemon level up lol I'm not sure. If that is the case there is no point in coming back after leveling up more. I really don't want to waste all of my progress but I need to know if I did messed up. Thank you.
This is a 3 week old comment so you may or may not have already figured this out by now, but yeah, you kinda did. I fucked up in the exact same way. The levels of opponents' Pokémon are adjusted based on your highest-level Pokémon, making grinding almost completely pointless. I say "almost" because I guess grinding for money still wouldn't be pointless. But it still also kinda makes leveling as a whole pointless and ruins any sense of progression for me, so my ass stopped playing, making days spent playing that game just wasted. Awesome.
@@cbcsup3rg0d I actually stopped playing and decided to play Pokemon Silver Yellow instead and not do the same thing, just in case I messed up my playthrough in Unbound by grinding levels. I appreciate the response, now I know. Thank you.
