Holding a pickup mon like zig until late game fixes that in classic. My first win was bc I was berry abs item loaded. Honey gather also goes hard, combed also gets kings shield and bug Bite so he has utility too
@@trowabarton101mhm, my first winning run had 3 main factors: A Quiver dance Nihilego (and getting Sludge wave as a tm so I wasn’t stuck with Venoshock the whole game) Pokerus And a Ribombee with honey gatherer so I never had to worry about money
@@HoshinJosh_I feel like a set up clefkey or tinkaton (these cuz they are immune it him) is better for eternatus then poltiguest (reason I’m not saying just the Pokémon is cuz eternamax gets flamethrower)
How many hours have you spent on Pokerogue? Personally, I have spent 156 hours which equals to me having 96% of my Pokedex filled and 35% of my Shinydex complete. Pokerogue has taken my life (in a bad good way)
Jere is my biggest tip for classic: 190-200, PICK X ITEMS. X Speed, X SpDef (specifically this one, Eternatus is mostly as Special Attacker), X of whatever your main attacker uses. This turns an impossible battle into a reasonable one.
I've beaten it already but all the different build paths, moves, abilities really make it more replayable than any official pokemon game. Good tips too! I would add combee as a good early game utility mon, it has honey gather for tons of free money and decent egg moves.
Ghost type curse and salt cure are both great answers to eternitus. Also tinkaton isn't too hard to get and resists dragon acent and is immune to outrage making it good vs ray and can solo eternitus before it eternamaxes. Maril/asuril are also great starters with pure power and fairy/water typing.
2:00 can you take the berries off of it then or what do you do with the berries? to me I thought they're stuck on them and useless or what? LOL i fkin released a meowth that had picked up a ton
@@HoshinJosh_ im so sorry PokéRogue servers will be going down on June 20, 2024 8:00 PM for a scheduled maintenance. This maintenance will last for approximately 3 hours.
I disagree with Bulbasaur being the grass reccomendation. Firstly; it mostly gets physical moves when it's a special attacker. Secondly; it needs TM's or Egg Moves for things like Giga Drain, and thirdly; it's a fake poison type; it literally dosen't even learn a poison STAB. IMO a better choice is unironically Chikorita for a beginner. Gets Giga Drain by levelup; Synthesis; Screens, Leech Seed, it can damage and para with Body Slam by level up... [While Bulbasaur's coverage is recoil...]. Also; Chikorita even has a better earlygame due to getting Razor Leaf really early. The one real advantage Bulbasaur has is not being weak to Poison or Bug, but being Poison gives it more weaknesses and removes it's Ground resist. Megas/Gmax are too unreliable to be a factor in Classic. Also; Primarina. Primarina is a Fairy-type. Popplio is the best starting Water-type.
