Pokemon Character Study: Volkner 

Pretty sure that's Naruto's dad before he became a ninja.

To me Volkner symbolizes players who've been playing Pokemon for years and feel stale when battling npcs

He is also known as the 4th Hokage of the Village Hidden in the Leaves.

My favorite gym leader. I think he was the first sign of gamefreak trying to do more with the gym leaders beyond just being bosses that fully fleshes out in gen 5. Can't wait to challenge him in the Sinnoh remakes, whenever they happen.

Vokner's and Flint's friendship is really done well in all 3 things especially in the manga because best friends always do the dumbest things together, and lets be honest fighting the pokemon devil is a really dumb thing

Mini Update Alright, and here's the re-upload. Previous upload of this had some weird glitches and errors in it (and this one unfortunately has some too), so I tried to fix them as best as I could! There's probably a few audio errors and glitches too, as I got new recording equipment but I'm still learning how to use it ;~; As for other update-type things, I'm hoping to upload every week next month! I have a rough schedule worked out (with another Character Study, Brand New What-If Regional Video, and Top 10), and I'm really going to try and stick to it!

If you fight Shauntal for the second time in eighter B, W, or B2, W2, before battle she reads some random setenses from here books and theres one which tells that Volkner actualy chalenched the Elite 4 of Unova. Sorry for my bad english its not my nativ language

If/when gamefreak makes Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum remakes, I would love it if Volkner became a member of Elite 4. It would be cool to show a progression in his character for going to weaker than his best friend Flint, to being an equal. Maybe Bertha could retire, and/or Lucian could leave. Arron should stay and maybe another character could join the ranks.

really good video! volkner and flint have always been two of my favorite characters. i think a cyrus character study video would be very cool to see, considering he's got a lot of noticeable differences depending on his appearances, especially with the anime and dp adventures.

A character study on Catlin would be interesting since you haven't covered any elite four members yet. Not to mention that Catlin showed up in two regions (Sinnoh and Unova), so there's a lot to analyze about her character.

With all his appearances, I want to see an in depth analysis on Looker. He first appears in the Diamond/Pearl/Platinum games and has appeared in the new generations following it, Black/White, X/Y, briefly in Ruby/Sapphire, and in the (Ultra) Sun/Moon games. It's weird because he doesn't stand out as much as the characters around him, but he's played some interesting roles.

I think the excuse in diamond and pearl for volkner's team was that each of his pokemon had one electric type move as opposed to being electric type themselves, which is kinda interesting.

just him getting bored of battles is kinda relatable to us players which can be related to other games such as yugioh that we eventually grow bored of games. nevertheless volkner is always a character that I always found amazing to have met in the games and hope to see him in the future whether it's the remakes or next main series games

Volkner's technically my 3rd/2nd favorite gym leader. He's just barely beaten by Candice and Maylene, both also from Gen IV, because: A) Lucario is awesome. B) Froslass is also awesome. C) Ice type gym leader is a bubbly enthusiastic girl who is quite tough to beat without a good fire type. D) They were so adorably crushing on each other, to the point where even 8-year-old me could see it. I was shipping those two before I even knew what shipping was.

First video of yours that I'm watching (also this is 2 years old) so maybe you don't know this, but at 9:52 it might be worth noting that Luxray Lv. X was the center of a tier 1 deck. I love it when anime cannon is mirrored in the TCG.

Pokemon Character Study: Guzma and/or Gladion Which may take some time given Gen 7 is so new (particularly the manga and anime), but I feel the games didn't really explore him enough. Same for Gladion's storyline - most of the focus was on Lillie and Lusamine and it leaves a lot to question about what kind of interaction was had between Gladion and Guzma during his affiliation with Team Skull.

Yknow, I never actually noticed that Volkner was especially popular. He's just one of my faves because he uses my favourite Pokemon & type and is actually tough since he's the last gym leader LMAO. His relationship with Flint though WAS one of my favourite aspects to him, I remember shipping those two hella hard in high school and I've never shipped two game universe characters in Pokemon before or since. :V
