This series really was great tho. From Conway's antics to Barry forcing all of humanity to pay a fine, Ash and Paul's rivalry, the continued pleasure of watching Team Rocket, and just the overall goofy and/or awesome plotlines in each episode. Most of the Pokémon series was good imo, but this was the last of the more classic feel to me. There was something about seasons 1-13 that just hit different. Also, seeing Dustox again in those clips made me a little sad. I miss it, and admittedly think they could've handled its release a lot better. But that aside, Diamond and Pearl truly was a classic

They definitely had even more fun returning too! Especially in Paul’s case 😈 You can tell that the voice actor for Paul was happy to reprise the role in Journeys! You can especially hear it during his battle with Ash. In fact, I think that was his best performance as Paul yet!

I restarted watching Pokemon by watching this series when I was in Jr. High... but I stopped in the middle of Pokémon Black and White in high school. I still play the games though. I mean, the old version like the Gameboy and DSi. I didn't bother to play the Nintendo switch. Until today with Pokémon Arceus I just recieved as a Christmas present from my brother.

It had a good setup with its struggle against Paul’s Honchcrow, and Torterra understanding Grotle’s struggle, teaching it how to adapt to its new body. But the show rarely followed through in living up to that lesson, at least with Ash’s Torterra. One of the only times I remember it paid off was at the Snowpoint Gym.

Last ending of this series where Dawn was crying when Ash was leaving and Ash saying to her not to worry just touched my heart. That showed that they loved each other but could not express their feelings.
