Ah, I remember 12 years ago I was fishing for a Feebas on that same route. The odds of getting a Feebas was so against my favor that I actually caught a shiny Magikarp way before I finally caught that Feebas. P.S: For those unaware, you have to be extremely lucky to get a Feebas in that route because it appears in only 1 water tile and that tile changes everyday depending on your Trainer ID. On top of that you have 5% chance of encountering Feebas and the rest were Magikarp. For those new generations of players who think that evolving Gimmighoul was tedious, that has nothing on catching Feebas in R/S/E.
6 water tiles out of a possible 70 tiles or something. I forget the exact number but you can find a map of valid tiles (not all tiles in the river are valid). Also it does not change everyday - it is based on the Dewford trendy phrase. Lastly, the encounter rate with the proper rod is 50%. The work to reverse engineer the games has yielded incredible results with the Feebas tile tool (tells you where Feebas may appear in your game). The only issue is the accuracy of the tool is something like 80% - useable but sometimes the reported tiles aren't correct, but with 6 tiles one of them will usually work.

Yo dude, It's Link Trade . Link Trade is a process in which a Pokémon Trainer sends one of their Pokémon to another Trainer in exchange for one of the other Trainer's Pokémon.😆
you have to link trade with FR/LG. there is no way to get a gastly from Pokemon RSE. unless you find a gastly in pokemon FR/LG and trade it to pokemon RS (including emerald) however you can find gastly in Lost Cave & Pokémon Tower Floors 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7 in pokemon fire red and leaf green
It breaks the lore of the lake of rage. Red gyrados is supposed to be special not something to be gotten easily. It should have been like pink Butterfree and purple kecileon
