Pokemon Kanto Expansion Pak: All Gyms and Elite 4 

I had a feeling this question would pop up. The game follows the type chart of the Spaceworld 97 demo...which honestly needed a lot of work. Here is a break down of how the types worked in the demo. DARK TYPE: Category - Special Weak to - Normal, Bug, Dark, Fairy Resists - Psychic, Ghost Super Effective Against - Psychic, Ghost, Dark Not very effective against: Normal STEEL TYPE: Category - Physical Weak to - Water, Electric Resists - Poison, Fighting, Fairy Immune to - Steel Super Effective Against - Rock, Fairy Not very effective against - Water, Electric FAIRY TYPE: Matches everything in modern Pokemon Game These incarnations were made before the Nintendo Cup 1997 National Tournament which led to the types being further buffed for the GSC release. According to the rom hack creator Plague Von Karma, this way was selected as it balanced out the game.
