According to Apollodorus' Bibliotheca III, 1, 3-4, Poseidon sent the bull after a request of Minos to be sacrificed to him (Poseidon). Minos did not, however, and Poseidon made Pasiphae fall in love with the bull and she gave birth to the Minotaur. If you do have sources on Hera's involvement, please let me know.

@@crazymus_pride There are more than enough good and faithful English translations of almost every major ancient literature, be it Athenian poetry or historical reports and descriptions, e.g. Herodotus, Pausanias, and Diodorus (some of which are even avaliable online). But I went to the library of my university today and in a footnote by the translator (an English one btw, and I'm German) in Apollodorus he said that in Euripides' "The Cretans" Poseidon didn't make Pasiphae fall in love with the bull but that it was a form of madness sent by Poseidon which made her think irrationall. I'm not saying that others versions didn't exist. Ancient Greeks were very liberal when it comes to different versions of myths, the difference between Euripides' and Apollodorus' versions, as well as others of his time, are proof of that. But how do you want to back up your claims of Hera's involvement in the Minotaur myth specifically if not with sources?
