I know people rarely (if ever) read descriptions, but hopefully you'll see this disclaimer that this video is scriptless. This means that you'll hear lots of "um", "oh", "er", and more in the video. I rarely (this is the first and only) make Pokemon Mystery/Theories scriptless, and due to all the comments telling me how to make/record videos, I won't repeat this mistake again :D
It's hard to explain what this video is about in the title, but this video is essentially about Brock possibly not always having been planned to be the first gym leader in the original Pokemon Games!
For the 20th anniversary of Pokemon, Ken Sugimori has been posting old concept art for the original games, and one of the pieces he posted seems to indicate that there was originally a gym leader planned to be before Brock!
