the moment that you enter a monster house without any kind of orb, you know that you are screwed up, also if you read Dialga used roar of time, hell, that battle is unfair to the most without any seed
the kind of song that plays as you approach the end of an unforgetable journey. you know what's at risk. you know what'll happen if you fail. but you also know what will happen to you if you succeed. This song perfectly captures the desperation and tragedy through it's tone.
@@Kamex You caught me red handed! I leaned heavily on the Nexus training wheels in high school. The canned sounds got old obviously... but it does have fantastic choirs.
〉'Richard'- Trust me. Nintendo learn from their mistakes. People saying Mario is too easy? Add fucking hard bonus levels. Really, PMD3 was decent but enjoyable. The only things lacking are genders(The worst thing. Since they do refer your gender. Also, it is obvious that America are fucking sexists considering that was an Import fucking Only option.) Second is the personality test, which honestly to me, feels like a good thing. I get tired of getting different personalities each time I play. The third is a post game. While I really don't care that much, I still do care. The biggest offender is Meloetta. Meloetta has a good personality to post game with. Does she get it? No. Really, if Nintendo kept some of the stuff from PMD3 and added elements from PMD2 as well, PMD4 would be perfect.
〉'Richard'- Okay first of all. It does not suck, but everyone expected too much out of it because of Explorers of Sky. I played through the entire game of Gates to Infinity twice, and am recording the third playthrough. However, you cannot state it to be boring and bad, as not only is that opinion, but you have nothing to back it up. First of all, it was not boring, the characters were very well-made, having great personalities and good backstories (yes, even Meloetta) and those characters succeeded in what Explorers failed in. The characters were relevant in the story. Each character had a specific role in the story, especially yours, your partner, Virizion, and Hydreigon. However, the Guild in Explorers was too large, and while some had good personalities such as Bidoof, the backstories were never brought up, only given to notably Bidoof and Wigglytuff, and even then they had to update the game to implement those. Also; the story was not bad, and it was a bit more logical to the series than Explorers was. Explorers was a bit odd in the story, as you were a human from the future, however what is confusing is that you were apparently the only human, as it never said you were from the human world, but from the future. So how would that work, a human being in the Pokémon world? It was never confirmed as to how that worked. And while Gates to Infinity's story is obviously not to par with previous games of the series, it was still a great one with it's own logic, pros, and cons. It had a plot twist, a good way to introduce the characters, and not to mention how it even put the standby characters to great use in the end. Not to mention how it seems that the major reason of the game not being the best is due to time limits, as it was released fairly close to X and Y, and if they released it too late, X and Y would have hogged almost all sales to it, as shown from how it looked like they were initially planning a larger post-game with the introduction of Meloetta, Hydreigon and Keldeo joining the team, and how they still had a few in-game days of gameplay before your character came back, and had dialogue and cutscenes for that portion. You cannot necessarily state it being a bad game without making a point, and there really aren't many points; only being length, difficulty, and some very minor and unnecessary complaints that shouldn't really be complained about on a major scale.
Don't ever forget, you're listening to a track I believe is considered by many the best pokémon music remix to have ever been made. You can easily understand why.
For some strange reason I just love any remix of temporal tower. Its almost as if its my jam! But this specific remix I would classify in my top seven. Thanks PokeRemixStudio for making such a great remix of such a great game's highlight moment, (Well at least one of the best moments).
This is one of the first remixes from you I listened to and it's still one of my top favorites!! (according to my iTunes I've listened to this song over 500 times and it's not the only medium I have this saved xD)
Pokemon mystery dungeon music always brings backs memories. Those are the best memories in my whole life and I will treasure them forever. I'm a proud pokemon fan.
This song is incredibly underrated, same for Primal Dialga.. This simply is the most amazing thing i've ever heard, Thanks Nintendo and Thanks PokeRemixStudio for this inspiring masterpiece.
I thought the dusknoir fight was easy with my guys at lv 90ish but then dialga brought me to half hp with one roar of time and I was like: well I am truly f***ed
I loved this music in Explorers of Time/Darkness. It was really befitting of a climactic end to a grand adventure. And this remix makes it even moreso. You never cease to amaze me.
I'd love to see Nintendo & GameFreak pay more attention to the fans than usual, & make PMD HD, or at least the continuation of the PMD anime specials, cause they were that special when I watched em back then on CN. that & a friend getting me into this series. Nostalgia. This is why the Dialga battle (Primal Remix) is my main theme. The composers did so well on the feeling each track gives.Pokemon Mystery Dungeon HD people, anything's possible.
Dracobat10 I think they should just restart the anime from the beginning. I recently played through Sky again and throughout I thought, "Man, this would make a great anime."
Can we put the picture with AZ saying "It's been 3000 years !" Dammit, since I played this game and heard the original version, we got another Mystery Dungeon, 6 main games, and 2 GENERATIONS !
because it's got a similar, if not the exact same drum instruments, and also because it kinda sounds like phazon mines, and also because of the background choral vocal things.
@Firecelebi Don't mean to sound harsh or critical of your insight, but it's not very accurate to say that you hear Primal Dialga's theme at 1:18, because that same melodic line is used in several songs throughout the game (ex: Fogbound Lake, Melancholy, Sacrifice, Time Gear remix, Temporal Spire, etc.). It would be like saying that the "Fairy Fountain" theme from LoZ reminds you of Scott Pilgrim instead of LoZ.
Cant believe these games recieved mixed reviews, It was far better than the first PMD, the storyline was epic and emotional, and gameplay may have not differed much, but I enjoyed it in the first game and it works great here too, plus theres more to do in treasure town and things, plus the idea of exploring is better than the idea of rescuing.
You will always find friends here, sir. I for one am a HUMONGOUS fan of the Mystery Dungeon series, especially this one in particular... PS) Again, your avatar and username is just too perfect... I can't stand it!
This music...makes you feel like your ready for the final battle...and of course, it was it at the time. The dangers of your life and the world. Thats the flow of Pokemon mystery dungeon right there! Nice remix!
I will never forget my play through with Totodile and Chimchar. Both of us had Brick Break and I spammed the HELL out of those Seeds cause even though I dished out the damage, holy shit that Roar of Time....
@tecatomon42 Aw, c'mon. I was around level 35-40 when I defeated Dialga. The thing I'm having trouble with now is Dark Crater. Pikachu and Charmander don't do well in there.
@Kingofcolor OK, that endings don't make my cry. But Drawn to Life credits yes TT specialy The next Chapter credits TTTTT. And now still today makes me cry.
I still get chills when it's time for the 'final fight' in your quest. The younger me could never beat primal Dialga so I gave up. Two years later I'm kicking ass with a chimchar that had 3 violent seed and fire blast. Then I cried, the aftermath always makes me tear up😢
This song perfectly fit the situation. You've come so far and are close to your goal. You traveled through the Hidden Land and lost Grovyle along the way. Now its just the two if youw scaling the tower of time to face off with a near insane deity and the outcome decides the fate of the world. You have a chance at success, but you could easily fail. This gives that sense of desperation needed.
You always have the most epic endings to your songs. This is freakin amazing. Dude if I new it would work, I would totally start a petition for Gamefreak to hire you.
Dusknoir: Die monster! You don't belong in this world! Primal Dialga: GIGIGIIGIGIGIGIGIGIGIIGIGIGIGIGIGI!!! Celebi: Tribute? You steal Pokemon's souls! And make them your slaves! Primal Dialga: GIGIGIGIGIGIIGIGIGIGIIGIGIGIGI....... Grovyle: Your words are as empty as your soul! Pokemon ill needs a deity such as yours! Primal Dialga: *knocks over pillar* GROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAR!!!!!!
@milun2 Maybe for die-hard Pokemon fans like ourselves. But for the average gamer, Pokemon Ranger is better. I'm not disagreeing with your post, though. I still think Pokemon Mystery Dungeon has been underrated by the most famous game critics. PMD DOES have the power to make you extremely emotional. Guardian Signs was emotional in a slight way, but it can't compare to PMD. P.S. At least Pokemon took the time to make 2 different systems hold the first PMD games. O.O
Palkia: Damn...why do I have to be next to this show off. Dialga: Damn...why do I have to be next to this lame idiot and what are those wings for man. I'm pretty sure those are for flying, but oh wait you can't learn Fly now can you. Palkia: WHAT WAS THAT! Dialga: You heard me you have wings and you can't even fly. Palkia: THAT'S IT! SPACIAL REND! Dialga: YEAH! FINALLY SOME ACTION! ROAR OF TIME! Arceus: WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT FIGHTING DIALGA AND PALKIA! YOU'RE GROUNDED! Both: Aww!
I really like this mix. But if I could add a criticism, I think it sounds a little hollow and soulless, like a midi file except with samples plugged into the notes. This wasn't an issue with your other PMD mixes because the samples were well-chosen enough, but here, the actual song is messy enough for this style to start sounding a little bit forced. You're a good remixer, but with some more practice, you could become even better. Keep it up!
My girlfriend and I once had a debate about the grammar she and I had to learn in English class... She claimed that she was already "lidiot" enough to write well. She quickly changed it to "literate". At that point, I rested my case that learning grammar was important. One of my points was also the internet. -Rinion
Honestly, PMD2 probably has the best storyline and plot in any pokemon game, it is truly a work of art what the writers at Nintendo have accomplished with this brilliant game. The mystery dungeons are also much more emotional than any pokemon game. Overall, PMD2 is truly brilliant, and if this is only the second mystery dungeon, what's to expect next?
There's no word for me to say so much I loved that. I LOVE PMD musics. I have got a number one, number two, three... but it's very hard to be well classed. For instance, when I listen again one music, I think "Woa... That's so beautiful..." and then realize it only can be 6th. Man, this one is now number ONE. I LOVE YOU for this music !!!
One of the (EXTREMELY few) things I hate about the internet is that it completely reverses years of language classes in a few weeks. Otherwise, I love this place, it's the only place where I know people who likes stuff like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky.
5 Time gears, 4 Iron legs atop the tower, 3 minutes to save the world, 2 Pokemon go fight the One thing between freedom and Darkness Where do we stand? where will you go? I will vanish, partner, but i dont wanna say goodbye... This is our final adventure... Lets do this ~Lyan Suzaki
Hey, don't doubt 'em. I know it's probably highly unlikely, but the next one (if they ARE making another) just MIGHT be even better then the others. I'm not saying it's going to be better, but they haven't failed us with PMD yet. Let's hope the series continues.
honestly, I beat Dialga pretty easy with one focus punch and a violent seed. the real bitch was getting past Porygon and there freaking discharge move! but at least the music of this place fit it's setting as an epic last dungeon
YOUR MOM DOESNT NEED TO KNOW ALL OF THE POKEMON ON THE GO LOL.. No, I'm kidding. I mean, if a random Pokemon pops up out of the grass, like Blobiathen or Bidoof, wouldnt it help to know if it was good or not?
when you hear this song you'll notice that it is the final dungeon before the final battle with your partner and only a few steps to peace. (may sound odd but i'm always thinking of that when i hear this song ... great :D
That stage was hard, I soon found out the hard way that bringing lots of Reviver Seeds attracted LOTS of Monster Houses, like they wanted to get rid of them from me or something. This music is pretty great.
Counting down, Towards the end of the world. Counting up, The steps to reach the top. Counting two, Pokemon to face destiny. Counting one, Pokemon to stand in their way. On that last day, Where did you stand? I stood before it and became a wall against the tide that threatened dreams. I stood next to you and shed my fear for friendship. That was how we toppled destiny, And shined the beacon of light. Because we did not give in to the darkness And instead won the fight. LHnter
I hate these fucking thumbs up posts just too earn a top comment spot. If you've played the game; then yes you suffered automatically therefore making your comment rather meaning less as its unavoidable too skip. Its like saying; thumbs if you were told that your princess was in another Castle. It's meaning less. I have nothing against you your self, but these thumbs up comments just piss the shit out of me. I feel like their spam cause they have no value as a physical comment too the up loader.
I love the Mystery Dungeon games, and find myself constantly going back to them. The first game had that great runaway feeling about it when you were being chased as a traitor - and of course I loved the Legendary Bird Trio and how that was involved. The second game had that odd feel for me, but I loved how you think you did amazing, you beat the game, and you get whirled into a world of darkness and the plot increases and climaxes from there. This was the first game that made me cry.
@Racer5121 I completely agree! The "original" Pokemon series is amazing, but Mystery Dungeon really had this way of drawing me in like no other game ever has. The music was beautiful, the way your character was a Pokemon was fun, and I could actually get truly attached to the storyline. Not to say the other games didn't have good storylines, but the go-become-a-Pokemon-master-and-beat-up-some-evil-team-that-wants-to-take-over-the-world gets a bit old.
@CarlaLionwoman Not enough! Cry, dang it! You're not fully human unless you embrace the greater emotions within us that make us so! LOVE makes us human! Animals can't truly love. Their instincts make them do things that are a mere shadow of our loving nature. Remove love from a person, and you've got an animal husk behind, capable of only simple, basic, neutral emotions and traits. REPLACE the love with HATE, however... and then you have monsters like Stalin, Putin, Hitler, Castro...
@milun2 Lets count! Shall we? Pokemon Ranger Pokemon Ranger: Shadows Of Almia Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs 3 Pokemon ranger games. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red/Blue Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers Time/Darkness/Sky Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blazing/Stormy/Lighning Adventure Squads 3 Pokemon Games So yea. They are equal ^.^ On a side note. I love the music cause it makes me so relaxed. The best thing to listen to after a long day.
@milun2 The Ranger games allow you to get event pokemom so generally people would want to get that. Plus the majority of people don't want to buy a game where you're a cute creature trying to save the world. Most people are shortsighted unfortunatly they might judge things at a glance and bad reviews arn't helping. Even my friend who's a pokemon fan prefers Ranger for the special Pokemon he refuses to plaay Mystery Dungeon. (by the way sorry for the typo's)
@milun2 becouse the people who made pokemon are thinking that if you play as a human you feel like your in the anime jees been a pokemon is more fun the normal pokemon game like diamond pear heartgold soulsilver and black & white you have the see like a normal videogame like sonic a 3th person sight but then in sprites thats why and in pokemon ranger you mostly try to use the stylus to make rounds pokemon black and white and the mystery dungeons are mutch better than pokemon ranger games right..
I was thinking of something like this: Necros, the main villain, is using darkness to control legends, the only ones that escape are Mewtwo, Celebi and Arceus. You, as the player, will travel to Kanto, Johto, Hoen, and Sinnoh to find each legendary and purify them. When you meet with Necros, he will say that he can destroy the world with Arceus under his command, but if you beat him, he then manifests into Diablo, then fights you again, however he has rayquaza on his team...
