I wish the main Pokemon games were this sad. All of the games are absolute masterpieces, there's no doubt about that, but Mystery Dungeon always seemed so flawless and filled with emotion. You don't get that feeling in the main games.

Yes, we all either cried when we first beat the game, or came close to crying, best game of my childhood,

I have one complaint about this game, after this mission, you lose all sense of individual journey. After your partner insists on allowing people to go it alone, it's like everyone's memory is wiped and it made me so sad.. glad they fixed that for the next Mystery Dungeon games

Probably one of my favorite games in general

Got this game by my father, who has now passed away, on Christmas 2006. It was my first videogame and my god did I fall in love with it. Finished the story multiple times and made it as far as to recruit every pokemon in the game. This pretty unknown game is the largest piece of nostalgia that exists for me. Just listening to any of the soundtracks just makes me want to weep over that glorious time, over a decade ago, that is now lost in time.

Ah. Red Rescue Team. The first Pokémon game I ever owned. And I cried twice in it too. I personally thinks this is the best of the Mystery Dungeon bunch. Please direct all hate at this comment and not me, please.

I played this game maybe a month only. I have destroyed the star already and leave. The scene makes me cry. Torchic was my partner and my character was Skitty. This game is about Teamwork and Friendship.

Really wouldve loved it if they showed him as a human back in the human world but I do find it cool that they let you play even after the game is over not to many games let you do that.

This gives me so much Nostalgia... In Pokemon Blue rescue team I was a Pikachu with my partner Torchic and i literally cried at this scene. This game is the first game to make me cry🥺 it just shows how you can really feel the bond between the 2 friends...💛🧡 i'll always cherish this game in my childhood...

Yeah completed this story around 8-9 years ago, and now I finally completed 100% game with all evolutions and pokemon in the friend areas. Just forgot this ending as its been a huge gap of 8-9 years ,this lockdown has given chance to relive old memories. Thanks for the video. And my Pokemon was also Pikachu, so that brought all the memories. :D

I remember crying when watching this. It was such a long journey to get to that point. I don't remember much about the game, I wasn't that good at it. But I'll never forget when the friends down below are grieving and then the credits go.

Omg, I remember seeing this video when I was a kid, this was the first time I saw anything of the Mystery Dungeon series. This video is from 14 years ago?! And now I've found it again?! I know this was where I first learned about Mystery Dungeon because I remember the name Sonix for the Pikachu player, as well as the Treecko partner. In fact, when I got my first Mystery Dungeon game, Blue Rescue Team, I started out (maybe) as a Pikachu and named myself Sonix and chose Treecko as my partner because of this video, being my first experience with the series. This video, right here, brought me into the MD series. Bless this video. All hail Sonix.

I remember when I first beat this game, I was so happy. It was one of the first games I had on the DS. Then the sad part came, and I cried. And the ending of this scene just made me happy. No other game has moved me so much to make me cry. This game was epic.

In my opinion, I think this ending was much better than Time/Sky/Darkness. In this ending, almost everyone in the town got to witness what happened. In Sky/Darkness/Time, the partner just retells the story to everyone and that seemed a little to boring... But remember it’s just my opinion, don’t hate!

This was the first game I ever owned when I got it and Pokemon Emerald for Xmas years ago. I remember the morning I finished it, I’d woken up early just to play it and snuck into my sister’s room crying at the ending because I assumed that was it - however old I was at the time I obviously didn’t have a concept of post-game content lol. Either way, this game has a special nostalgia-shaped place in my heart. Time, Darkness & Sky, are fantastic too.
