It's been said for many years now that mega Flygon was scrapped due to them simply being unable to come up with something they liked at the time. Flygon is highly likely given they've had another decade of experience and pushing the ideas of Pokemon designs even more.

Fully agree with you that the Kalos starters need to be the starters for ZA. Can't wait for mega Delphox. Also really hope Clefable, Blissey, Togekiss and Milotic get megas, but realistically I'll be stoked if just one out of these gets one.

If not a Mega, I'd like to see a Jynx evolution. She has a pre-form like Electabuzz and Magmar (Smoochum, Elekid and Magby) but while they ended having Electivire and Magmortar, Jynx was, pun intended, jinxed out. And I think that if Mr. Mime, another usually hated Psychic type, could get a second life (literally with both a regional variant and an evolution), I don't see why she should be shunned anymore.

I want a mega raichu or regional variant raichu that is based on the scrapped gorochu. What I would want for plusel and minun is a pre evo that evolves to 1 or the other based on the nature then they evolve again. I think we are going to have abilities and breeding in PLZA but I don’t think we are going to have online battles it will be just like PLA in that regard.

Mega plusle/minun could work something like dondozo/tatsugiri with commander, mega Staraptor would be s tier easily, dragon/bug would be interesting type I don’t think it’s farfetched that mega pokemon would stay exclusive to specific games, much like lumina meganium in snap, shadow lugia in GoD, and shadow mewtwo in pokken. This would allow gamefreak to bring back beloved features while keeping the main games mega-free. All I know is gamefreak has a perfect record of doing the opposite of what is logical or expected.

I’ll be honest. I hope they don’t add online. I hate it. I absolutely loved the lack of it in Legends. It doesn’t need it, and it’s nice to have a game that doesn’t force me to deal with it. I also am still kind of against megas because I prefer just regionals, so for me I just hope whatever starters we get have a regional vs mega. More excitement that way. Megas are boring to me because I don’t have that pokemon. It reverts back each time and just kills my hype.

@@User12347ejdj that’s ok. To each their own. I don’t like online battles, or raids much. And the only ones I ever play online with are one friend and my brother, and we only do it to get the pokemon we have to be online to get. I just don’t like online with any game though. Never enjoyed it. I like being able to do everything on my own. So for me it was refreshing to not have online for a game that’s all. I do miss the breeding a bit though.

I think one thing people are overlooking is new Megas are a way for Pokémon Go to provide more raids and new content. It’s an easy way for the Pokémon company to double dip and get new content on console and both mobile.

Jynx will not get a mega evolution because Jynx was removed from the Pokémon anime. The last appearance of Jynx was in Three Jynx and a Baby(AG168) JAPAN: March 16th, 2006 US: November 25th, 2006 Jynx has not made any appearances in Pokémon the series: Diamond & Pearl, Black and White, XY, Sun and Moon or Journeys, and here we are in Pokémon Horizons.

Furthermore, Bug is the only type not to get a regional form. Also, Bug/Dragon is a type combination that was never used.

I think that all this is very interesting and I’m going with 50/50 wether this rumour is real or not I like for The Kalos starters, Starapter, Flygon, Druggigon to get a mega I think Luxray is more likely than Plusio and Minum to get one so it can finally be ELectric/Dark Jynx I’m 50/50 we’re it gets a mega Crobat and Arbok as Megas would be cool but I think Taloneflame and Helioisk should get mega give Gen 6 mins more love I think that Legends ZA will have some sort of compatibility in it and I think we could some something about Xenoblade in the next Nintendo direct.

I don't like mega evolution and never will. It is the worst gimmick that franchise produced. Limited to a handful of pokemon and most of them didn't need the power boost. Jynx never had a scrapped mega. And Flygon doesn't need a mega. Greninja is not a good pokemon. I refuse to use it in my Kalos playthroughs. Legends Z-A will never be a competitive game. So no multi wifi battles.

I understand why some people don't like Megas but while you may find it as the worst gimmick, it is easily the most recognizable and most favored throughout the entire community, even if there are some negative voices. Jynx may seem unlikely but Flygon definitely deserves a Mega. At least, in my book.
