Well, there were Route 122 and 123 afterwards, but the former barely had any land and the latter was an optional track back, but this route was the one leading to where you entered all that ocean, and this also played on the islands in that ocean.
I'm so glad we got night time Hoenn... I don't think I went here at night, but if I did and being on the bridge with Steven at night would have been epic.
I remember this was my favourite route as a kid. I always set up my secret base in one of the permanently rainy bits, behind a section of cuttable trees in a bush right next to a berry bush. The rain. The fact it was between two of my favourite cities. Everything about this route, this theme, this game, everything makes me so incredibly sad with nostalgia. I miss the good days of carefree playing. Maybe one day I'll get them back. And I know what game I will pick up.
Just amazing, this is my favorite route theme of them all, and this arrangement is everything I hoped a updated version was like. Can't wait to play this.
Best route theme in the game, hands down. Perfect mix of triumphant and adventurous. I'm so glad they didn't change it too drastically from the original.

It won the second spot of my favorite route music :'). It has too hard competition for the first spot tho xD, Unova's route 6 and Kanto's route 26 still the best in my opinion.
For me it's the trumpet being a solo instead of a whole section in RSE. Sounds more impactful when it's one guy playing his heart out. Not that the remake isn't fucking glorious BTW.
