There was no broadcast and its not Pokemons fault. They did a premier video on RU-vid, where you upload it early and it releases for everyone at the same time and you can't skip upon initial viewing. RU-vid is to blame and the only reason it ended early, is because the premier portion stopped and it became a video
People may say whatever they want about gamefreak, but this time they finally united the whole pokemon community. There are some people hating on dp remakes, some hating on legends, but one thing we can't take away is that this time they finally did it. The whole community finally came together and in one voice said: *"DAMN IT STOP BUFFERING!!!!"*
To me the three starters they give us in the Legends series is like a tease that more games are to come. Gamefreak has spent YEARS putting out new regions and remakes of old games as a means to cash grab, knowing that their gaming community will buy anything they put out. I would expect that not all pokemon will be present in the new legends series as a marketing ploy to keep players coming back for more and more. Who knows maybe new regions will be added as DLC but to me, that's a stretch knowing how money hungry the pokemon company is. Why release DLC at 30 USD when you can make a new game for full price? idk, this is just my theory on what this future legends seires is going to be
Probably the reason that the remakes are not being made by Game Freak is because they are probably working on the next new pokemon games remember every 3 years it seems a new set of Pokemon games comes out that's probably the reason they got ILCA Inc. to do them
I like the art style honestly, reminds me if Links Awakening. The battles looked pretty much like Sw/Sh so I think competitive will be fine. Although that said I guess it depends on how it handles Dynamax/Mega Evos will determine what will be played in comp. Official might stick with Sw/Sh for VGC.
Putting a trainer in a wide open area does not make this a "breath of the wild" They said there's only one town so what's there to do apart from capturing Mon we already have...I need a adventure, gyms, not just a field to catch Mon I have already.
I need way more info on both of these before I can get excited. If remakes don't have some updates why am I buying it and not playing my original copy on my ds systems
@Mica Bryant In their Press Release, they mentioned that the Diamond and Pearl Remakes will have modern updates incorporated, like quality of life stuff they've developed since that game came out. So it should feel like a Modern Pokemon Game with the Core Mechanics of the Original. So, yes, they are modernizing and updating the games.

Gen 4 looks like let’s go, i don’t think there will be like a metagame, like VGC just like lets go pikachu and eevee, but the Arceus game looks amazing I think this one will be the main game, the remakes are there just to give us something until they release Pokemon legends, Arceus of the wild.
Pokemon legends will not be a mainline game, there are no trainer battles and pokemon gyms and a league are not yet developed there. Read some additional information on the pokemon website if youre curious
