Brings back memories. Me being 10 years old Re-doing the elite four until my lugia and ho-oh were level 100. i spent hours, I'm not gonna say it's a wasted childhood. I got some sense of self-satisfaction that you don't get from just using action replay and other cheats.
I always though this music was not as good as the other battle themes in the pokemon universe, but this remix is amazing. It gives it a certain quality the original could never hope for. 5/5.
So I'm Working my way through your uploads, backwards. So far, this is my favorite remix you have done so far, it just makes this song PERFECT. Please keep the remixes coming, you are one amazing artist.
Emerald is definitley the most nostalgic for me. I played through Silver first, but I was young and dind't really understand stradegy, so it wasn't as much of an expirience as it could have been. Not to mention, Emerald had the hardest champion of ANY Pokemon game. Wallace was a fricken jerk! It took me FOREVER to beat him!
Absol A is for how awesome it is, B is for the blue color of its face, S is for the supernatural ability to predict distasters, O is for how overlooked it was in 3th generation, L is for how it is lonely for being distance from humans...
For some reason when I hear this song, I usually picture Gardevoir dancing while Magical Leaf twirls all around her and the area before letting the leaves fly out at random intervals while her team dukes it out... odd
I first played Ruby thinking it was a fake "Version" (you know how some people love making ripoffs) and only realized it was real after a week or so; that was probably about 9 or 10 years ago back in primary (elementary) school. Came to realize this was my favorite song. It's not particularly "battle-emphasized" but rather a song that represents what Pokemon is all about; fun.
umbreon and espeon continued their journey into sapphire, to pearl, then to diamond, and now theyre in pokemon battle revolution. theyre both lv 100, obviously.
this was in pokemon coliseum. which was an awesome game. Its how i got my ho-oh, which was by far the most challenging thing ive ever accomplished in my journey to becoming a pokemon master. in fact, the 1st two pokemon i ever had were umbreon and espeon. I dont play anymore but ill always remember how they helped me throughout my journey. lol, they went from being in pokemon coliseum, then to firered, then to leaf green, to ruby, to sapphire, to emerald, then to pokemon XD, back to sapphire
I listened to this (and other remixes) alot when I was waiting to arive to my holiday destination (it took about 6 or 7 hours). So now everytime I hear this I get that feeling of being in the car going south, it's kinda strange.
He did a pre-emptive remix of the D/P Legendary theme to fit Giratina, that was before Platinum came out. I meant that he should remix the ACTUAL theme from Platinum, which he hasn't done. Don't get me wrong, I loved the Giratina mix he already did, it's one of my favourites, but I think the Platinum theme has the potential to be really awesome.
4:14 An awesome pokemon just became more awesome!!!! Salamence has always been my favorite non-legendary dragon type. My favorite dragon over all is raquaza.
@supersmash27 lol yeah, i forgot what moves they had but they helped me out big time. imo, theyre probably the coolest looking normal pokemon. god, im 15 and this music makes me wanna play pokemon again!
@pokekirbio I think he was making a joke about how easy they were, and that he would be expecting to win with 4 lvl46 pokemon and two halves of different items. The only real mistake there would be the misspelling of antidote.
GRASS IS MY FAVORITE TYPE I love treecko, Grovyle, Ludicolo, Abombasnow, Turtwig, and a few others. Grass types have weaknesses but they can drain health.
@Rhynorune My sentiments exactly. Steven could be done with in less than five minutes if you had Blaziken or Swampert, while Wallace's only true asset was Gyarados.
@UltimaShadow7 its basically the same concept as pokemon heartgold and soulsilver ( i think) where for example, in soulsilver you can catch lugia first and can catch ho-oh much later, vice versa in heartgold.
@Rhynorune >> should have a quest where you have to go do some stuffs and make Red take over Hoenn and become the champion there. Pretty much the only person i can think of that is worthy.
Even though Dunsparce is an ungodly creation of nature, it can be a good wall if you train it right. Bidoof, no chance. And don't even bring up the F.E.A.R(?) strategy or Baton passing.
Nice remix =] It wasn't one of the greatest tunes to begin with IMO, but you did a pretty good job with it I thought, so well done! 5/5 As suggested already I'd like another remix of the GSC Gym Leader theme, and another one I'd be interested in hearing another take on is the RSE Champion (I really liked the original but I think there's potential in it for a different sort of mix). The Platinum Giratina theme would be an interesting remix too, if you can come up with some good ideas for it.
@flamesnake330 I know right? I mean, 1st gen is nostalgic, but toherwise, 3rd Gen is the ultimate pinnacle of Gamefreak right now. That is their masterpiece so far. If they remake it, the battle scenery will be so disgustingly slow i'm not even going to try it. In the GBA version one battle took max. 2 minutes. In the 4th Gen, it might take 30 seconds to complete a friggin turn.
Do you ever get tired of these? I hope not; the music in Pokemon is very diverse. I think this is one of your more playful songs, and although I prefer the darker, heavier songs, this one is still very good. :)
"The pokemon pictures in this video are in alphabetical order. Peace out. XD." Alright not really all that funny. Nevertheless, you've still got it man.
