Y'all ever think about how Rusty starts with a kakuna, and Ralphie starts with a metapod? And both end up imprisoned, though in different ways.

Ralphie has murdered humans. Rusty has murdered Pokemon. Together, they will rule the world.

The ending is genius. It couldn’t have gotten more clever than that.

20 years.. Poor metapod still never evolved... and is still lvl 17..

If Rusty and Ralphie ever met each other, the Pokémon cinematic universe would literally collapse and reset itself from their combined intelligence.

I like how at the end it reveals that red wasn't actually killed by ralphie because the story in rusty said that red assembled all the strongest pokemon trainers meaning red didn't die to ralphie and instead was somehow saved

I just rewatched Rusty after this and realized that Bidoof undid everything bad he have done, so that probably includes killing Ralphie. Which means he's still alive and in prison.

I figured out a way to make the whole "Ralphie and Rusty exist in the same universe even though there is a time paradox" thing work. So you know how it says that Red has 2 children, but we only meet one of them? I think that the other child is the Red that Rusty is an obsessive fan of. This is the only way I can think of having 2 Reds with different ages and time frames.

We now need a trainer who actually takes care of their pokemon but has to deal with Rusty, Ralphie, or someone like them

I don’t know if I can get behind Todd judging Red for his actions, when he himself chose to help Ralphie, which resulted in the deaths of a ton a people. Red said his sons were geniuses, but what kind of genius thinks it’s a good idea to help out a man who’s so obsessed with a rematch against Red, that he’s perfectly fine with murdering people and kidnapping? Todd was even willing to battle Red as Ralphies pokemon, before Ralphie and Red started fighting. It just left me more confused than anything when I first watched it. Great show though, the ending with Rusty made me laugh

I feel bad for Todd but I love this kid even if he evolved monstrously. It's so shocking to see the vains and stuff. I just hope he's not in pain. Maybe not physically if he isn't but mentally if he hates how he looks.
