This is a quick review of Pokemon Reminiscea! A Spanish game that has been recently translated to English! It's a fancy complicated Roguelike that takes place in a brand new region and it has a rewarding story and interesting characters.

glad i stumbled upon this gem. cant wait to play it, sounds like a dark souls-ish version of pokemon and ive wanted that for a while

as someone who played through the likes of many fangames, Uranium,reborn, rejuvenation,(and saw a tons of videos from insurgance,xenoverse,unbound) and now reminesencia and it's post game ,it sure is fun and a lot of charachters feel alive, also the poor translation can make you think lucius is a male when in reality she's a girl, (it was confusing for me as well) but non the less i liked it! the scenery is repetitive and the game was quite short compared to the others i played but i can say it made me sweat good and try diffrent combinations, Postgame boss fight was intense.. and after you are done with post game you can play a dungeon mode which is a completley diffrent story but it takes place only in dungeons sadly. It sure is a good story but it could be expanded on and leaves room for experimentation, and it's not meant for the younger audiences because of some...details... but i am sure many pokemon fans can agree it's a refreshing story, and i recommend it to any fans of pokemon that have awaited something new

Tried it. Story and character interactions seem great so far, but I couldn't play due to a bug. The game is sped up way too much. I'm at the slowest setting. I can't read what moves the enemy makes and I get killed.

@@Haru-nv5gx is that the default button for setting the game speed? Because I already explained that the lowest setting I can make the game run at is still unplayable.

There should be instructions on how to fix that. It's on the reminiscencia folder and the speed patch is on the patch folder

@@iceninja1997 Thanks, the patch fixed the speed issue :) I also notice there's better grammar now. Turns out Lucius is "woke" xD

I was so hyped until the machine translated. If story is important a bad translation kills it.

I would love to give it a go as the characters look charming, but I’m not that good at strategising and if this game has a competitive feel then that’ll be the nail in the coffin

Nintendo has been nuking fan games recently and took a massive nuke and blasted away one of the big 2 fan sites. Like 70% of fangames were deleted. However the creators of the site were given a notice and when they were they archived everything I think it's on the wayback machine.
