Pokemon Shiny Hunting but it's in REAL LIFE! 

Where do I even start? Creating content like this has always been my dream and I am so happy that I can finally share a video in a style I always had in mind for this channel. This project was so much fun from enjoying more time outside, becoming more healthy and learning how to fly a drone and how to shoot action clips (I bought a mini drone and action camera specifically for this video) as well as needing to become better in video editing.. This has been the most challenging yet most fun video project I've ever worked on! Some of you might have noticed that I already found this shiny mid March. There are a couple of reasons why I didn't upload this video earlier, one of them being that I am in the final months of my studies and time was hard to manage next to my final exams. On top of that, I really wanted to re-shoot the clips and continue editing the video until I was 100% satisfied with the outcome. I had the vision for this script and video in my head for a long time and it was not easy to replicate it the way I had it in mind but now that it's done, I am happy with the result! I am sure I'll learn lots more in the coming months while hunting for the next Pokewalker shiny and I am looking forward to it! Can't wait to share that one with you, whenever it happens. I want to comment so many different things, but I’ll try to keep it short. A legendary hunt, I know how much goes into a hunt like this, even if it is under 1000 it’s a huge investment. Paired by a legendary video. The inclusion of Pokémon in the real-world and that opening sequence just packed such a punch. It felt nostalgic like a blast to early Pokémon commercials. The passion you put into this project really shows. Without exaggeration, I gotta say I think you have just made my favorite video I have ever seen on RU-vid 🔥

This was an absolutely INSANE watch!!!! Amazing video! The 3D production in the intro and throughout the video took my breath away. This is totally a hunt I gotta try one day - just happened to look into setting up the codes for it with a friend the other day, too!! I gotta know - did you give that detailed of an explanation of the transfers every day??? That must've gotten exhausting 😂

I opened a can of beer to enjoy it while watching your video. I didn't take a single sip of it by the end of the vid, I was mesmerised by this. This is *groundbreaking* in scripting, editing, and animation. I can't even imagine what effort went into it all, even though you told us how long it took. Nothing I could say would really do this video justice, this message would never end if I tried. Massive congrats on the shiny - but this video is so much more than "just a sick and incredibly rare shiny", at least in my eyes. Thanks for going to the effort to make this and share it with us. All with eyes can see how passionate you are about shiny hunting and making it an incredible experience for not only yourself, but for all who want to share in it with you. If I had a hat, I'd take it off to you. Instead I will now take the first sip of my beer and toast to you instead. I know this is long but I can't help it. Wish I could leave more than one like. This was amazing.

Yoo what did i just watch? Every time you mentioned working on this video on streams i was imagining parts and sequences of how it would look like. Nothing could have prepared me for this, shattering all expectations o.O The various amounts of sceneries/angles recorded, voiceovers, CG mons woven into the real world with a lot of care and attention to detail by a talented artist (those reflections on water for example!). This is already an amazing achievement, and that enough would have satisfied me for a shiny hunting video, as you are one of the only people to get a shiny Pokemon from a Pokewalker. But this video went above and beyond a normal shiny hunting video!!! The animation, and hype, as well as the work you put into making this video and hunting this shiny, is awe inspiring. I've been using the Pokewalker to grind a pokemon all the way to lvl 100 from lvl 1 for around 50 days now. Anorith is at 64 right now. Never thought this little experiment would get me to enjoy taking walks. Been finding a lot of interesting places in my city. I would probably try this hunt myself, if I wasnt going to unlock all the courses.

Dang talk about an interesting hunt! This sounds super appealing as a fellow shiny hunter but only having one pokewalker will talk me forever plus trying to figure out how to disable the shiny lock and see if I can find my old action replay. Regardless congrats! Such a good shiny too!

I’ve contemplated hunting shellder for years fullodds but grappled with the idea of whether or not I’d ever evolve it. If there was ever a reason to keep it as a shellder (besides the amazing orange colors) this is it. Amazing video, please tell us who helped with the Pokémon editing!

Such a colaborate hunt, gg and gz! The Pokéwalker is actually part of my everyday life for ~1,5 years since I'm farming the 10 million max steps, currently at around 7 million 🙌 Do you plan on farming those as well, just for the flex (uh and of course for the ultra rare berry)? :P

Awesome shiny! How did you get so many Pokewalkers to connect with one cartridge? I thought only one could be set up at a time per game file. Did you have to use a different cartridge to set up each one and then it just let you send all the gifts/Pokemon to one of them, or was there an Action Replay code to let more than one be used?

My action replay is both ancient and finicky so it'd be rough to start a hunt without knowing if the code is even working or not..
