I got bored. I don't know how much faster this can be, but it looks awesome. The strange order of playing the mini-games is because it seemed to desync if I did the Drowsee one near last.
I started watching in horror as those boulders flew at speeds my childhood had never witnessed, then cackled as Metapod spammed the Harden button at the end. I didn’t think a TAS could taunt.
I both loved and hated those random sick moments like how does a Likitung randomly get sick? lol hated it when it happened to me but couldn't help but still laugh
I know they had two types of Sushi that looked the same one that had red meat and the other looked like it had green veggies inside. But other then that I never noticed if other sushi had a green tinge to it probably the coloring on TV's back then wasnt good enough
So the maximum amount of Magikarp jumps is 32. Always wondered that. ...Thundering Dynamo wasn't even fair... XD I'm calling Rubberband AI on the Rattata one, though. D=
Oh man this brings back memories, Pokemon stadium was such a fun game. My favorite mini-game was the Metapod/Kakuna, and my sister's was the Ratata run.
That question should be directed to the Clefairys. I mean, if they mess up, they get hit in the head with a mallet and they eventually get knocked out.
It's cool now that I know some japanese cuz I realize that the sushi stage, it's not just random shouts, but the chefs actually shouting out for more of certain items.
Simply press A when the pendulum is in the middle, you need perfect timing in the end. If you miss, you'll see a Z over your head. Miss too much and you're out.
Ugh, ever since I watched this video a day or two ago I've had that stupid clefairy song stuck in my head. I completely forgot about how ridiculous that minigame was until watching this video. I have to wonder now what my parents thought when my brother and I used to play these games as a kid and it just kept singing "Fairy, fairy, fairy, fairy, fairy, fairy...."
I remember getting a 32 on magikarp's splash with two controllers simultaneously. The minigames that use the rng a lot are: run rattata run (positions of hurdles), clefairy says (directions of arrows), ekans' hoop hurl (where dugtrio's diglett heads shows up), thundering dynamo (whether a or b is pressed first and when the button to mash is switched) and of course sushi-go-round (twelve slots, eight different values of sushi). The rng of course would desync if snore war (a completely non-rng minigame) is done near last. (Cpus' actions notwithstanding of course)
TAS allows the use of save-states. So you save the game every frame and go back to an earlier frame if you see something happen in the future that you can take advantage of.
My god the memories of my childhood is coming back one of the first 2 n64 games was super Mario 64 and this one included Man I miss the good old days with both super Mario 64 and this one also
me and my friends used to do 3 day long 4 player tournaments on this lol. me and my brother vs my friend and his brother. whoever won got to borrow the n64 for the weekend coming up. sometimes it would just end in a fist fight on the front lawn lol. that's how serious we were over these mini games. this is one of those games on my list that i need to buy again.
@@phineas81707 Clefairy seems to cap at one full round, winner being the one with the most hp at the end. The drowzee minigame seems to be the only one that could go infinite if that's the case.
